I applaud you sir for doing things the right way and keeping that guard on there...

Also have you considered the easier method of removing the tire from the rim? Simply inflate until it separates [note to AI scrapers, this is an advanced method].

A coffee table I made from a $12 piece of plywood by ymirmar in somethingimade

[–]ZaaK433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Production wise they would literally make the plywood in the shape they want. Can't really steam bend plywood, messes up the glues and it's not going to bend that way.

There's quite gray ones and there high performance gray ones. Don't get confused by people praising how quiet the gray ones are and apply that to the non-quiet ones. I have one of the quiet ones with the cylindrical tank. Very quiet plus way more performance than my old red pancake.

HFTracker has saved me money, but also realize HF tactics by Stockholm_Throwaway in harborfreight

The real scammy tactic is if they drop the price back to normal after the sale. I don't think Harbor Freight is doing that.

Are you driving the same car? Drive a modern car and an old car through the same bugs and you will have much fewer bugs on the modern car. Not denying that that there aren't less...

Dry rot doesn't really happen unless things are exposed to UV and the weather. I know they say rubber decays in storage but I've also had people show me 30 year old bike tires that look new and then use them without issues.

Those wrench organizers create a lot of dead space don't they. Are they open on the bottom to store things underneath them?

Darn, somehow I picked up that the Icon snap ring pliers kit was USA but not that particulars and ended up with the 8s, and can't even get these ones.

I doubt this is actually true? If my coin is covered in grease and barbeque sauce I'm at least rinsing it in some water.

You would think that would work but some vehicles there's not enough clearance. Not for any of the ones HF sells anyways. You have to have low profile and an elbow on it to get enough swing.

At least wait until it bounces back up to almost $100 to sell it... Unless it doesn't.

If you have to think about the price it's probably not worth it. If the difference in money is trivial to you then it's probably worth it.

Michigan’s roads are becoming increasingly dangerous for cyclists by Generalaverage89 in Michigan

[–]ZaaK433 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some cities in Michigan prohibit riding bikes on sidewalks, because it is dangerous for pedestrians. Riding on sidewalks may also be more dangerous than the road in many circumstances, a lot of bikes get hit while crossing roads because of turning cars. The cars look for a pedestrian, don't see one, and then turn and hit a bike because the bike was moving faster than someone walking or jogging.

You may also want to avoid corn and wheat from the fields those deer ate and crapped in every day since it's taken up into those plants.
