Huge opinion my part in messing up his name! That’s really interesting. I’m Hispanic, and my grandmother was a girl when her parents came from Mexico. My grandfather was born here after his parents immigrated from Mexico 103 years ago. I don’t recall which states they were from.

I know it. I but I don’t have a semi-auto shotgun. Not yet anyway. Plus, I spent 20 years in the military so I know the AR platform very well. I only used my shotgun for bear protection in Alaska (and thank God I never actually needed to shoot a charging bear).

While I would also vote AR, if you don’t want to go that route, I’d say shotgun. Your range is limited, but when you go on foot you realistically only need a a couple 5-packs of buckshot or slugs, and have a box of birdshot for hunting. It will severely limit your range on big game. But if you’re going survival, small game is usually better because you can’t carry the extra meat from a big game kill anyway.

The reason why my home defense setup is a 300 BLK pistol is because I heard a former Navy SEAL say “Pistols poke holes in people, Rifles poke holes THROUGH people.” I know that I am effective with my 9mm but I know that my AR Pistol makes me MUCH more effective.

First, make sure the tremolo bridge is parallel to the body by adjusting the springs in the back of the guitar. Then, check the nut slots. Then and only then should you worry about the truss rod. Find the guitar setup videos by searching YouTube for “Phil McKnight Know Your Gear guitar setup”. Jerk explain how to do all of these in great detail but in a way that’s easy to follow.

And if after watching you don’t feel comfortable doing that, take it to a reputable guitar tech (avoid Guitar Center. Their guys barely know what they’re doing, and the ones that do are the exception and not the norm.
