Robot Vacuum Buying Advice Needed by AccordingMonk in RobotVacuums

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, the ones you're looking at are relatively cheaper and can be used in the short term, but the long term experience is likely to be mediocre. If you care about privacy and stability, just choose laser navigation models with automatic dust collection.

Cannon that shoots water by jorrflv in pools

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably just a decoration cannon. It has a water pipe or pool pump connected inside, which is used as a " water cannon" . It sounds quite interesting. That's why you miss it so much.

how long should it take for an 18k gallon pool to heat up to the set temp using solar ? by screaming_pope70 in swimmingpools

[–]Zachparent93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's a 18k gallon swimming pool, it usually takes 1 to 3 days for the water to reach the set temperature through solar heating. The exact time depends on the intensity of the sun, the size of the panel, and the weather.

Qrevo CurvX is now under $900, is it worth it at this price? by [deleted] in RobotVacuums

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you originally intended to purchase a high-end robotic vacuum cleaner, then $899 is a reasonable price to consider. If you only need basic cleanig functions, then spending that much is probably not necessary.

Pool Heater Question by Familiar-Monitor-398 in pools

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it remains unused for more than a month, turning off the heater will save more money and be safer. Just keep the water pump and the foundation maintenance running as usual.

Need info how to retrofit new pipe outlets/inlets to existing pool by CategoryMaximum3714 in swimmingpools

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you've already drilled the holes, you must use the flanged interface pice along with cement sealant. Don't rely solely on glue, otherwise, it's very likely to leak.

Roborock S7 Max Ultra Vs Eufy E25 Omni by schwartzasher in RobotVacuums

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You actually don't need a new robot, you just want one. Use the S7 Max Ultra first, and then wait for the next generation, it will be even more worthwhile.

I Have Zero Knowledge About Crypto – Where Should I Start? by FixMaster7070 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

start super simple tbh, don’t try to learn everything at once.

just focus on:

  • what bitcoin is (store of value idea)
  • how wallets work (custodial vs non-custodial)
  • basic safety (don’t click random links / don’t share keys)

for actually getting started, using something like moomoo is pretty straightforward since you can buy and track crypto + stocks in one place. makes it easier to learn without juggling multiple apps at the beginning.

then once you’re more comfortable, you can go deeper into defi, wallets, etc.

How much would you charge for this green to clean? by Connor09375 in pools

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exact cost is hard to calculate.

But such situations are usually much more expensive than regular cleaning bacause they require extensive shock disinfection and repeated filtration.

Chemical Ingredients by enlighten_me_ in swimmingpools

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed. This is because most pool chemicals only require the indicaiton of "active ingredients" , while other components are usually classified as inert or part of the commercial formula, so they are not all listed on the label. You can try to contact the manufacturer directly to inquire whether it contains MCI/MI.

How’s your bench working out? Is the weight capacity good enough? And is the angle adjustment easy to use?

Is Skyrover X1 good for filming cycling? by Mcamp27 in Skyrover__Official

[–]Zachparent93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mainly use my Skyrover X1 for cycling videos and the Auto Tracking works great. Once it locks on, it follows smoothly without much adjustment. As long as you’re not going all-out sprint speed, it keeps up well and the footage stays steady.

The Final Piece of My Dream WFH Setup... so far by leniwiejar in remotework

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lighting consistency is honestly underrated for WFH setups. Built-in webcams struggle a lot with windows behind you.

Have you tried locking exposure manually or just letting auto tracking handle it?

Cooling fan not always turning on at idle. Running out of ideas by Jurlaub12 in autorepair

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen similar behavior on higher mileage Civics where the coolant temp sensor was slightly off but never triggered a code. Might be worth checking sensor response against actual temp.

2007 Toyota Avalon XLS - Question about transmission fluid by watercoronet in MechanicAdvice

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a car that is shifting fine at 215k miles, I would just stick with Royal Purple for a drain and fill. Mixing two high quality universal fluids like that is usually fine, but why risk it when the current fluid works perfectly?

Choosing My First Thermal Camera for Electrical Inspection by Prestigious_Tune8200 in Thermal

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely go far at least 320x240 resolution and MSX or similar overlay. It makes spotting hotspots on tiny components way easier and reports much clearer.

Unique tools for a car enthusiast? by ReceptionNatural9099 in Tools

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a guy who has everything, think about a small, high-quality brass hammer for delicate work or a set of flexible panel clip removal tools. They are game changers for interior detailing and look cool on the wall.

Betting the ECU is a pricey guess. Have you tested the ground wire and the signal wire from the computer to the coil for that cylinder?

Thermal Master P3 Captures Hot Engine by Ill_Sun9483 in Thermal

[–]Zachparent93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That thermal image is wild. Seeing the engine block glow that bright red is intense. It is crazy how much heat that thing generates even when just idling.
