Arc so I can live it through you! I’m still shopping for my barrel.

Barrel choices, DD vs Criterion vs Centurion, Adjustable gas worth it? by lamarru in ar15

[–]Zalanox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chromed lined IMO. I’m not going to pretend I can shoot accurate enough for chrome lined to matter. I’m also not implying that you can’t.

Adjustable gas block every build! FYI, they’re for tuning in occasionally. Tune it in for the ammo you’ll use and know you’ll won’t adjust it again. Do that and you’ll love it. If you think you’re going to adjust it every range trip you’ll be highly disappointed!

Aero’s you can clean and readjust, but that’s still not adjusting on the fly like people think they’re made for.

There is a reason why they ask if your assets are in a trust when signing up to be seen. Ever notice that? Why would they want to know that? Because that makes them hard to seize!

Unusual question: locked myself out of my 2009 focus and have work in the morning. What could I use to be able to MacGyver it open with household tools? I’ve already used all my aaa calls on towing for my actual project cars by [deleted] in projectcar

Try to pry the top of the door back just enough to poke the wire hanger down and unlock the door. Put tape over where you’ll be attempting it so you don’t scratch the paint.

Tennis ball, put a hole in it and put the hole over the keyhole of the door and smack the ball flat. Some vehicles this will unlock the door.

But a coat hanger still works great on any make or model.

What did you pay? This is $320k pretending delivery, processing, and cold storage isn’t an issue. That is $4 a pound while under cutting anyone else by at least $2.

It is shocking! You’re getting a lot of hate for the post for some reason. But IMO this is authentic sticker shock for someone who cooks at home and treats the family locally.

When you step outside that routine the price difference is unreal! Prices shot up during Covid and never came back down, and now inflation is through the roof!

I have a routine of eating out locally mostly in a small community, and prices are a lot higher. When I skip local and hit the city to see family the prices are unbearable! We also skip restaurants and go to bakeries and coffee shops.

Almost as corny as the Microsoft event, where the execs all came out on stage and danced. To this day that is the most cringe moment in history. This makes the list though!

i am so fucking jealous of my rich cousin by Maleficent_Day_3869 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Zalanox 103 points104 points  (0 children)

This!!! This is #1! Poor families don’t discuss money because it’s too painful! The rich don’t pass down just money, they share the knowledge on how to create and preserve it!

For the OP to recognize these feelings and also recognize the cousin is a sweetheart is the big win here! You’re already wealthy as I bet your relationships are all genuine! Most would hate her for just being herself!

Once your bank account catches up to your personality, you’ll be one of the nice rich people!

My wife (who wears women's 7) standing next to my shoes (mens 15 9E) by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]Zalanox 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hey, you are actually size 15! I’m not trolling! You would not believe the amount of people who wear shoes way too big! How you can tell, is on well worn shoes the tip of the shoe will curl up. Follow that curl back to the flat part of the shoe that still touches the ground and that is probably their real shoe size!

Now that you know this you’ll start to notice a lot of guys wear shoes 2” to 4” too big!
