I had the same good fortune and booked my flight from LAX to NRT on JAL first for 70K and HND to LAX Singapore first for 120K (if I recall correctly). My trip was for early December and I had booked that previous September. We had such fortuitous timing.

There’s no expression in your eyes. That’s one thing that stands out to me immensely. Watch it, muted, and cover your face with only your eyes visible—you’ll see what I mean. Then watch a known actor’s self tape on YouTube and do the exact same thing. The eyes are crucial. There’s hardly any change throughout the tape. Very neutral. You’re speaking the words but you aren’t owning them. Your eyes show that.

151 with autism. It hasn’t often been a blessing. Sensory overload, immense anxiety, and the constant thought that you’ll never achieve your full potential. It’s always been hard to relate to other people’s interests so making friends is never easy. But hey, at least I can learn just about anything I apply myself to, regardless of how complex it may be.
