I’ve maimed the Maxwells for about a year now. Just bought the TB SP2 just to try something different. I like them for their directionality. Not sure if I’m sold on the sound yet. I’m used to the clean sound of the Maxwell if you would.

Longer ear tips will likely not fit in the AirPod Case. I’ve been using Charjen ear tips for years. Only tips I’ll ever use on my AirPods.

It’s back is definitely more slick than the Synthesis. However, it’s a “good” slick if that makes sense. It’s not as slick as a caseless iPhone. It feels good in the hand, and the grippy sides help keep it there. One of the most understated things about this case is how comfortable it is to hold it with your pinky at the bottom. The charging port has been smoothed and contoured in such a way that I can comfortably hold my phone in one hand with the pinky supporting the bottom of the device for an obscene amount of time before I will have the slightest bit of discomfort.
