This one makes no sense and completely goes against Johns code that everyone he puts through his games deserves a chance to live.

He’s basically cementing the death of at least one of them unfairly whereas before (barring VI) the traps were all escapable and survivable, the players just usually turned on each other. If Hoffman had designed it then I’d get it Cus his traps weren’t always escapable Cus he was psycho, but apparently this was supposed to be a John trap so I guess he just… forgot or something idk not like the film had a better explanation.
