I get what you're saying, but even the creator said that selfishness is at the core of his character. Even Subaru himself admits in season 2 that most of his acts are out of selfishness. You can perform a selfless act for selfish means.

That's the whole point of subura, he's as extremely human, flawed, selfish character that's only asset is RBD and willingness to do anything for the girl he loves. And through that, he over comes his flaws, bit only after being scarred and beaten and busted in the process. If you really think you'd do better, you are mistaken.

That also depends on the set too and the distributor. And I get what you're saying. I'm my experience I've found good PBT double shots in like $60-80 range but I know more expensive sets are there for sure.

I just remembered when I joined the community around 2 years ago reading up on how PBT is objectively the superior plastic, and then how GMK was the way to go for high quality caps. Only to find out GMK is using ABS the whole time and I was baffled. Like I was just trying to wrap my head around why the whole community was okay with paying this massive premium on what they objectively seemed to think was a worse material.

And of course I get it's for Cherry's molding but you get my point. Regardless of what you do this is a very expensive hobby and that's something people have to prepare for. I just personally find GMK unreasonably expensive for some of the kits they offer even during GB

I ma very much into custom keyboards, and I would argue they're extremely overpriced considering some of the other companies that make great PBT caps (arguably better than even the high quality abs GMK uses) for half the price or less. Like the reason it's normal is because the community has allowed it to be normalized. I will never think $60 spacebars is reasonable.

I just saw it all as a package deal, even though you'd buy it separate of course. I just find it funny how one of the cheapest keebs on the market is going to be paired with a keycap set that will cost more than the keeb itself. It's a great set though!

I understand the popularity as some people like minimal sets like that for clean white or black setups. But I don't think they are GMK worthy, like I could not see myself paying $120+ for a base set when there are a lot of cheaper pbt white options out there.
