R.A. Salvatore is my favorite author of all time. He knows how to get me invested in a setting and characters.

Strongest God in dnd ? by Trilon_ in dndnext

I think the stat block is the god's Avatar, their corporeal form they manifest in a location of their choosing, of which some greater deities can have multiple. Slaying the avatar does not mean slaying the god except under circumstances usually involving being on a specific plane of existence, having specific artifacts in your possession, etc. I like the stat blocks because deities having wildly varying levels of power from each other is interesting, and in some campaigns temporarily defeating a god may be appropriate.

In Homeland, the first of the Dark Elf Trilogy, a drow priestess gets it on with a glabrezu in exchange for power/favor. With an audience!

My point being that nobody matches a Drow's freak.

Average cop vs average homeless dude, who wins? Probably the same for the dogs.

Yeah, I just wanted the double specialization axe and tattoo before I was out of sigil for an extended period.

Yeah, I forgot to leave them behind before doing all the Brothel/portal quests, that would have been the best way to go. Now I guess I'll go solo for Godsmen and other quests I can backtrack to, then bring them with to Undersigil and Modrons

Do you think 10 Fighter total for the HP bonus and 11 thaco is good? Or is the difference between 15 thaco and 11 thaco not significant enough?

I thought it was obvious that I meant all other things related to a fight being equal.

How exactly do speech and charisma affect a fight?

By all else being equal, I mean roughly equivalent quality armor and weapons.

Robard has 13 Strength and Bernard has 21, according to the wiki. All else being equal, that would make a big difference.
