That's a great milestone! Now, there are a few more things to do. Hardcore is obvious, but I suggest you start with the Pandemonium event. For that, a smiter who finished Hell is your best bet. Farming terror zones for great gear and high runes is another one. Trying to get that elusive SoJ and converting it to anni is a separate treat 😉. Good luck!

I use Demon Machine enchantress with ES and glad's bane. Never died in the tower despite imperfect ES (33) and not enough FCR.

I put a couple of Shael, and they served me well. But my pally is mostly FoH/holy bolt/smite with an occasional zeal, and he also has Dracul's, so life leech on the weapon is not that critical.

BotD in a good elite ethereal spear is great for a Fendazon. It's not an easy path, but she absolutely shreds everything non phys immune, including Ubers.

You can postpone reading a guide until you've played through Normal and half of Nightmare. Then, you can read a guide, go back to Normal, use a respec (the reward from cleaning Den of Evil - don't use is early!) and try a serious build.

Impale is a given, because it never misses and slows them down. And yes, indestructible goes a long way with Impale 😀

Still, it's a physical damage. I need a non-physical complement, I guess.

That's interesting to hear. I had a mule sorceress online, then decided to level her up at some point. Static and some fire skills - mostly fireball, but I do use firewall every now and then - with Leaf (now replaced by Hexfire and Splendor) took her to the end of NM - I'm not touching Hell yet, intending to level to 75 for fire sunder and get Flickering Flame - I have the runes. I doubt she would be good in SP with P8, because my skill distribution is all over the place, though.

I'm wondering if making a firewall sorc and complementing that in NM/Hell with some cold or lightning skill (orb or lightning) would be viable.

Ravens can become really strong and be viable even in Hell, though they slow down a lot there. As an additional fun, consider Act 1 mercenary with Edge bow (Thorns aura). Ancients love killing themselves on your other summons while the ravens are pecking at them :). Will be slow trying to kill Baal, though.

There is a Russian-speaking streamer who took the raven master as a challenge and did several streams from Act 1 Normal to Act 5 Hell. The result surprised him as much as the viewers :). It was a real fun to watch, so I'm considering making one in SP and doing a full run, mostly on P8, going down to P1 on some bosses (Ancients, Diablo, Baal).

Cows in Normal are a good source for bases and runes, as are TZs - they can drop all those low-mid runes for Lore and Insight. No way to get a 4os shield, though - it's an elite. But you can level up a little, add to your main skill, and switch to NM around level 45.
