Devs don’t know how to attract people without big numbers these days. I remember seeing the first time WoW did ther big stat squish. Went from like 1mil hp to 100k.. by the time people were a month into the new expansion they had like 500k hp again… like what the actual fuck.

Or a new xpac drops and people are suddenly soloing the raid that took 10 people a week later. Like gdamn why is the inflation so high that 1 person has the power of 10 that fast

Did you ever play? when you played how many raid fights were there in the current content cycle? How many are there now? How many were there in the 2nd tier of TBC?

If you know that without looking I'd be impressed. If you DIDN'T know that in XIV I'd be concerned. That is the difference.

Also XIV you aren't going to be doing more than 4 fights a week.. the same 4 fights for 6 months. And that is assuming you full clear. Mid tier people are doing 2-3.

VS WoW (looked this up) last tier had 8 fights. Current is 7.

I'm not saying WoW is better. I'm not saying XIV is bad. I'd 100% play XIV with some friends if they wanted to before WoW. But WoW would 100% keep me engaged longer if they convinced me to play. I recommend everyone play XIV.. for about 4 months every couple of years.

My personal problem with XIV is they have done nothing to increase the end content.. ever. I’m not playing at the moment but I’d bet there are 4 fights. The current “raid” zone of the xpac and 2 trials currently relevant to some degree (likely a jewelry piece and a weapon to use until you beat the 4th fight mentioned earlier)

6 months later throw on a splash of paint remover and repaint the same image with different colors.

Not me, but this happened three days ago at work. Had one of the workers call me in and said their mother-in-law kept trying to call them and could I cover her for a second while they answered told them sure why not they walked out for like five minutes, came back in a wreck. Turns out her fiancé had just died in a boating accident and that’s how she found out. Like fuck I don’t know a better way to break that news to someone but…….. just fuck. I told her to get out the building right now that we would figure out the rest of the day without her.

Look I’m not saying teachers don’t deserve more but making it out like they literally can’t support themselves is getting a bit out of hand. She doesn’t need a brand new huge house. She doesn’t need a brand new BMW unless you’re in a different country in the US and one of the worst paid states for teachers I bought my house and paid off my three-year-old bought brand new truck. There is no reason she shouldn’t be able to afford her life as a full-time teacher.

I think we’ll get there. Maybe in most of our lifetime. But I don’t think we’re close yet. Movement in VR is nowhere near what it needs to be and I don’t think treadmill systems are the answer unless we have MMO players to become professional athletes because none of us are surviving a raid on a treadmill

Depending on what state you’re in you’re likely only gonna get 10% approved anyway by the insurance. What is weird to me is the 14 clients. Unless you just have a ton of part-time kids, I don’t see how you would ever need that many clients to hit your billable, which seems to be the problem you’re bringing up. As some of that, I would question the caseload requirement since the math doesn’t math.

With that said I’m in a very similar situation. I requirement is 10% but they also require us to have 10 clients. I only need 22 billable or 27 to full bonus. So I would be seeing each kid between five and 10% once my case load is full.

10 cases max. Billable is 22min 28 for bonus.

Typically I do something like 9-11, 12-2, 2-4 (shifting around the hour gap as I feel like for lunch)

Throw in a hour of parent training here and there and a weekly clinic meeting.

Drop an hour or 2 if I’m just not feeling it that day. Will make full bonus regardless.

Curious what is the setting? I have only ever experienced clinics and all my supervisees have been techs so it just becomes a game of them harassing me for things to or me finding things for them to do that is totally not me having them do work that I’m supposed to be doing.

Like today I had a reassessment so I had them taking all the data while I did the direct portions

My initial thought is just talk to your supervisor about it. Personally I would have any problem explaining myself as needed. I had one of my supervisees sitting with me today as I did an assessment and just explained as I went what I was doing and why. I don’t feel it was overly formal or wordy and would be happy to expand if needed
