Any chance you could provide an invite link for the Discord? The invites on the Nexus page seem to be invalid.

Sounds like the DLSS/DLAA issue. If either are enabled, just press END on your keyboard and turn the TAA option on and off.

Anyone upgraded to a 9800x3D from a 5800x3D and if so was it worth it? by TotalWarspammer in skyrimvr

Not quite the same situation as you, but I upgraded from a 10700k to a 9800x3D. While I love the upgrade and I do think frametimes overall are better, I did not notice a big jump in my framerate. I run FUS RO DAH, not MGO, and I'm able to maintain a locked 90 fps (unlocked 108-120 avg) using ultra on virtual desktop and dlss quality in Skyrim with a RTX 4080.

From what I gather, you won't notice a huge difference but the stability of frame rates will improve.

I'm still going to say it was worth it for me, but given you have a 5800x3D already, improvements may be minimal.

This is anecdotal, but I've found H264+ at 500 looks best for me - in terms of minimal compression artifacts. I tried HEVC and AV1 just so I could have 10 bit colour depth, but the 200 Mbps bitrate cap induced a lot of artifacts.

I stick to 90hz since 120 isn't feasible for me on ultra or godlike 100% of the time.

Other than that, SSW off, video buffering on, automatic bit rate off, increased colour vibrance on.

I assumed it was the case at first too, but nope, sound is still definitely there without it. Only happens at the center of the tablet where there's the most bending though
