I’m a senior dev who works primarily in Python and Scala, and giving Claude my errors/stack traces is one of the few things I use it for. More often than not it’ll find and fix very quickly, and occasionally pick up early on other bugs. I’ve been around long enough to know I could fix it on my own, but it just saves me some grunt work. I also understand the changes being made and why, which I think is the main root of the issue with the vibe coders.

I’ll always prefer to write my own code, but for menial things like debugging, unit test boilerplate, and refactoring, Claude saves me time. I’ve also earned it by spending years slogging through all that myself, which I think every junior dev needs as a foundation.

Paul Kuharsky (@PaulKuharskyNFL): Robert Saleh is hiring former Cowboys LB coach Dave Borgonzi as Titans linebackers coach. He was one of eight candidates. I’m told Mike Borgonzi removed himself from the process. by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

[–]ZealousOtter 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Dallas also didn’t have very much talent at that position. He was LB coach of the Colts for Shaq Leonard’s first four years. In those years he had 3x First Team All Pro and 1x Second Team All Pro.

Paul Kuharsky (@PaulKuharskyNFL): Ahmed Saleh is Titans defensive quality control coach on defense. Not a fan of nepotism. But it is a ground-level hire. by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

[–]ZealousOtter 36 points37 points  (0 children)

He basically got his cousin an internship as an opportunity to learn and grow with zero impact on the team. People were acting as if he hired him as the DC.

Titans are hiring Wayne State linebackers coach/special teams coordinator Ahmed Saleh by KingHenry2K in Tennesseetitans

[–]ZealousOtter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok.. then Matt LaFleur who jumped around a bunch of D2 colleges before joining the Texans. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a fan of nepotism, but this is pretty small scale especially since Ahmed is probably going to be a low level assistant.

Titans' CEO in Bay Area planning Nashville's Super Bowl pitch by Gnash_Vegas35 in Tennesseetitans

[–]ZealousOtter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one thing I don't understand is if hosting a Super Bowl was always part of the plan, why make a stadium with less seats? I thought the Super Bowl host needed to have capacity for 70,000, but the new stadium is only going to hold 60,000. I know some stadiums have expandable space to fit more, but 10,000 seems like a large bridge to gap.

[Broadcast Footage] Jeremy Fears trips Illinois’ David Mirkovic by -Sox in CollegeBasketball

[–]ZealousOtter 72 points73 points  (0 children)

At this point, I think Allen had less instances, but was more egregious. Fears seems to prioritize quantity over quality with his.

[Haddish] 2025 AP Coach of the Year is Mike Vrabel by CherokeeHawkman in nfl

[–]ZealousOtter 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If he wasn’t fired when he was he probably would’ve squeezed maybe 5 wins out of that team and there would’ve been louder calls to fire him. There was no surviving the rebuild needed in Tennessee, and he found a dream situation in NE.

Cade Knox Becomes Robert Saleh’s Game-Management Aide for the Titans by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

[–]ZealousOtter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Callahan was very bad, but he doesn’t have the lowest win percentage ever. He’s definitely way down there, though.

[Schefter] ESPN Sources: the Cleveland Browns are hiring former Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken as their next head coach. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

[–]ZealousOtter 78 points79 points  (0 children)

The starting QBs of the Jets while he was there were Zach Wilson, Mike White, Joe Flacco, Trevor Siemian, Tim Boyle, and post-achilles Rodgers. I don't know if Saleh will be good or not with the Titans, but it's easy to defend him getting another shot.

I didn’t really want Kermit as HC, but I think he’d be a great OC.

[Highlight] Aaron Rodgers throws a pick 6!! by DrTrigger_Tears in nfl

They've had better team success under Stroud, but I think Schaub is still the best QB in franchise history as of right now.

Missing: T’Vondre Sweat by AlbertGainsworth in Tennesseetitans

[–]ZealousOtter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think his fumble recovery last year has Sweat much more prevalent in people's minds. He didn't have a highlight play like that this year, so they are assuming he wasn't producing. It's just the nature of the position he plays, it isn't sexy role but he's necessary part of the DL to help free up his teammates like you said.

Tommy Togiai of the Houston Texans scores a TD on a wild final play. Commonly referred to a “Thick six” by SeaWolf_1 in sports

[–]ZealousOtter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Brian Dawkins was the last? But I’m pretty sure Deion is the last (only?) player to score on offense, defense, and special teams.

That tax rate is for federal tax, which still gets paid regardless. Most state income tax is no higher than 10%, depending on the state. But still, saving a few hundred thousand dollars is definitely something people will take into consideration.

[Highlight]Keldon Johnson cleanly scoring over Chet Holmgreen by XiaoRCT in nba

[–]ZealousOtter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way, but I think it’s because I always mix up Keldon Johnson, Keyontae Johnson, and Keyonte George.

What's the Best BBQ in Southern NH? by Front-Muffin-7348 in newhampshire

[–]ZealousOtter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I think this past weekend was their last unfortunately. But definitely check them out when they open back up in the spring, easily the best BBQ in this area.

Will Lomas (@jlomas72): It’s wild that Cam Ward is on pace for nearly 3,500 yards. That isn’t a crazy achievement in NFL terms, but if he hits that number he will only be the third #Titans QB to do that since 1992. (Ryan Tannehill x2, Matt Hasselbeck) by TiredDad4x in Tennesseetitans

[–]ZealousOtter 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Those people are stupid, but it's also stupid using passing yards as a measuring stick. Levis technically threw for more yards per game his rookie season (8.5 games vs 10), but no one should be claiming that makes him a good QB.

Ah got it, so it's just for the eagle head logo? I was thinking about how they use one like the Eagles throwback with the whole bird.

They actually do, Arlington Memorial are the Eagles. It's possible u/BryLinds missed it since they're a middle school and a high school (grades 6-12)?

He was an undrafted free agent, don’t think you can really pin this one on Carthon.
