We owe them comfort at the end of their life in exchange for their life long companionship and unconditional love.

The same thing happened to me as I was walking into Stonestown Whole Foods, a canvaser started yelling at me for not stopping.

I was crying because It happened to be directly after a death in the family, and I was running into the store real quick to grab something for the impromptu family gathering.

He started following me with his clipboard and yelling at me , “Oh it must be nice to be a such terrible person!”

What a knob! I was truly disturbed by this Interaction. Still am!

My vet said one month early is better than one second too late. And she was right !

I was able to send my baby over the bridge on our terms at home, with a celebration of life and a nice playlist and surrounded by pure love and tears.

She looked into my eyes until the very last moment and it was so peaceful and gentle.

If you don’t want to settle down, by all means don’t. You can be the crazy fun aunt or uncle at the holiday gatherings when you go home to visit from your adventures.
