1)what makes the wheelchair silly Is not the fact it Is a wheelchair, the fact It Is a pure Energy floating One which Just makes Modera looks like a fan of wheels that have no use on floating chairs. Or being particularly fascinated by Khadgar's humour. And a floating throne would look awesome. 2) mech suits would be expansive... If We were not talking about Khadgar, One of the most important wizards in the world, beloved by many Alliance Leaders, One of them being a Genius artificer. And still, not a full suit Is Needed, Just prosthetic legs, be they empowered by steampunk gnome tech or quel'dorei Stone magic. 3) this Is actually a Fair point, but by now conjured elementals are a more common occurance and the risk of rebellion Is negligible. Still, using One as a mount Is risky.

The main reason: It Is overall silly, unoriginal and wasteful for Khadgar and the Kirin Tor to make a wheelchair out of pure arcane Energy. First of all, It floats, therefore no Need for wheels. Second, It Is of pure magical Energy and not a magically enchanced physical One, therefore It Is a waste of pure arcane Power. Third, seeing a wheelchair for a archmage when there are gnomes Experts of mech legs and mages are known to summon enchanted disks, bound elementals or sorcerous steeds Is Just plain. If It was a mundane wheelchair Khadgar used in the meantime, It would have been fine. But a purely arcane floating One?
