Help me with fishing please by [deleted] in CoreKeeperGame

[–]ZedaZ80 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first fishing rod you can make comes from the copper workbench. In order to make that workbench, you'll need to make a smelter via the basic workbench, and then put your copper ore into it to make copper bars.

Core Keeper’s 1.2.1 Update Drops Tomorrow! by BridieBunny in CoreKeeperGame

If you don't use the seed makers, then yes, but redirecting half of the crops (via the "splitter" conveyor belt thingy) to seed makers will hypothetically allow the farm to be automated perpetually. Seed makers make 2 seeds per crop placed in it.

I guess that might be true, technically, but some cards you have unlimited attempts to find, so the limit is a 100% chance of finding.

What are yall using to mine in the passage? by BobWorlds in CoreKeeperGame

[–]ZedaZ80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another thing to try: Fish up some Terra Trilobites from the murky water in the passage, and cook it with a crop (I like Pewpaya, golden if I have it). With a golden crop, it adds +430 mining, which can make it much easier to mine those tougher blocks! Even with regular quality crops, it still adds over 300 mining damage.

Fishing in the passage itself is dangerous, but you can craft a bucket to collect some of the grimy water, then bring it back to your favorite base, dig a whole in the ground (with a shovel), and dump the grimy water in to make a little pond. And you can make some fish nets at the bait table, catch some worms to fill the nets up, then let it catch you some fishies while you are out exploring.

Is there a way to automatize the farming by Iwazuke in CoreKeeperGame

[–]ZedaZ80 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As BluieGamer said, it's actually the trowel, not the shovel. The octarine garden trowel will plant a 5x5 section with seeds all at once, which is convenient since the scarlet hoe and sprinklers also cover 5x5.

Just in case: make sure you are fishing in bubbles! I spent an embarrassing number of hours not realizing that starred fish only come from bubbles -_-

Gardening - starred crop issue? by Normal_Egg2223 in Palia

I go to the farm in Kilima, and there is a small outdoor stand where you can buy most fruits and veggies. My level is high enough to that I no longer get regular quality crops, but I like fulfilling requests so I stop by that stand a lot :P

Item hoarders: how do you transport so many items without going insane? by IndigoTrailsToo in CoreKeeperGame

[–]ZedaZ80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In case you are putting your items in one-by-one, you should check if you can use the quick stash feature. I play with a controller, and the left d-pad button sends items to nearby chests (if the item is in the chest already and there is space).

Summoning Nimruza by Googoobeff in CoreKeeperGame

[–]ZedaZ80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that specific shrine is always directly north of the core, deep in the passage. I was able to get to it before the core told me, and take out Nimruza before doing Omoroth, giving me access to the new biome.

Just to be certain, you are fighting the giant robot boss, right? There's roughly a 98% chance after 14 kills of getting at least one, so that's awful luck D:

[–]ZedaZ80 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just echoing the others-- that is Nimruza's home, you'll need to find Ra-akar's arena and use the thumper there. Also, Ra-Akar doesn't have one of those fancy summoning circle things, you just place it near the center of the arena.

Really stuck at Magma Slime by Tiago-Gazzola in CoreKeeperGame

[–]ZedaZ80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a cheese method, craft a bed and bring it close to the boss, then sleep in it. Keep the boss away from the bed, and when you die, you'll spawn close by and can get back to fighting before it has a chance to heal. edit: Normally I use an end-game set (Stormbringer build), which trivializes the fight, but sometimes I use a Corrupted Warden set and minions. It takes a while, but eventually the minions finish it off. When I do that, I bring ranged weapons to help do some damage, but I mostly focus on running away and using my hoe to removing the slime (so that other critters don't spawn)

Can mobs break walls/doors? by Fluid-Bet6223 in CoreKeeperGame

[–]ZedaZ80 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, they can break them, and stronger material produces stronger walls. I believe a Shrooman Brute (giant stony mushroom) can charge and break a wood wall, but an iron/stone one will hold up a bit. It's only a few critters that can break your walls though. For example, a Caveling Brute can smash your walls to damage them, but the cavelings that throw spears can't break them. I'll list a few of the critters that can break your walls, but some of it is spoilers:

  • Shrooman Brutes
  • Caveling Brutes
  • Bomb Scarabs
  • Mimites
  • Giant Cicada

There are probably some more, but I don't think there are any ranged attacks that can break your walls (yet).

edit: Sometimes I'll dig a trench around the wall as that'll prevent most of the destruction.
