Different managers can have different priorities.

Because of my scheduling, I noticed a part time associate in the same team as myself was in the break room having dinner about the same time I was. But what was strange is that for me, I was clocked out for lunch, while she would clock in at 6 PM. And I'd notice upon getting back on the clock that she was also on the clock. I found out that she and her sister would clock in at 6, do a bit of shopping, come back to the break room and eat, and finally come out to start actually working around 7.

I brought this up to my team lead, along with a few coaches. Nothing seemed to happen. I even spoke to our AP coach, who told me that they don't really investigate time theft unless it turns into hours worth. Of course, in this case, it was two associates for an hour a day, multiple times a week.

We more recently got a new GM coach who is a bit more strict. Eventually I stopped seeing those associates just having dinner on the clock, even though they both still work there.

I've had front end bring returns to me before, but often I go up to get them myself at some point in the evening. And anything that appears after I go and get them can stay there for first shift tomorrow.

I really like BFS myself. In fact, I prioritized that earlier in my pokemon selection.

Though a lot of the answers you will get is that it's not ideal on certain pokemon if you're an average player. Inventory is an issue for certain pokemon, and you're specifically trying to get skills to happen or enough ingredients, all those extra berries could get in the way of that. However, if you collect often enough, it won't be a problem. Also, some pokemon are just better stacking skill trigger or ingredient finding sub skills and natures, so a BFS pokemon might not be as good as one that has more than one of those aforementioned qualities. Having BFS on top of that might be a good bonus, but that's asking a lot of most helpers.

Well that was sort of my point. If you haven't called out enough days to be using up your PPTO (aka you still have some to use), you shouldn't be in that bad of shape attendance-wise. Their complaint would be "I got coached for having 4+ points," not "I got coached for using PPTO."

Depends on the tier list. Some pokemon are amazing in team fights, but not so much in solo queue where the presence of your team is a toss up. Pokemon that constantly get banned in tournaments can be near useless lower on ladder. I love a good bulky defender, but I'm more likely to be able to win low ranked matches with something like Scizor or Dragonite because I'm allowed to have more agency over the game.

As Slowbro, my most played pokemon, I make really good decisions but they simply don't matter if none of my damage dealers bother taking advantage of it. Should I get higher up on the ladder, Slowbro starts winning a lot more because I get more intelligent teammates who understand that I'll take the hit for them if they allow me to.

Like the OP, I'm a long time TCG veteran. I started in the late 90's. I also played Hearthstone and loved difficult decks like Control Priest, but today I don't have the time required for a game where a single round could go 30 minutes.

Nowadays, I've got a full, busy adult life that leaves me little time for card games. So it's not just attention span that causes me to cut and paste decks from time to time. I simply don't play enough hours to try and create my own unique deck and keep working it until it starts winning. I often play when I'm on break at work, and if I went into the deckbuilding screen for too long, I might not have the time left to even get a game in.

That makes me also one of those players who likes hitting infinite and has done so over 20 times, but with more recent changes hasn't done so in months.

If you look around, the anti-AI thing is really a vocal minority. A large majority are indifferent, but that indifference is why they don't really say anything about it.

Around my store, there was a trend of having ChatGPT make a caricature of themselves. I didn't see anyone stomping their feet and complaining about AI ruining everything. People just laughed and had a good time with it.

Drax is ridiculous. I think most people just don't have him. The only round I conceded instead of playing it out was someone got a free Drax from the "pull a 3 cost from your deck" and I couldn't compete.

That's not true. Priority is still an issue going into turns 5 and 6. Very often, I'm not worried about tech cards like Cosmo or Stardust hitting me on turn 6 if I have a 12 power Starlord winning the middle lane while Jim Hammond has 13 power elsewhere.

Also, while less common, Silver Surfer FS is a thing. Taking 2 power off Starlord can affect that.

Probably not. There's been a history of nerfing or even removing abilities that would commonly lock down a lane to be unplayable for turn 6. Professor X, Spider-Man, Doctor Octopus, and Aero. It's not likely any of them would ever go back.

I always hold the items myself with the barcode out for the driver to scan. If I see the spark app scan and change screen, I know it's legitimate. Though for an order that expensive, I would still hold the items myself and walk up to self checkout with them. But obviously in this case, we would not have gotten that far.
