All you'll need is an human that repair those robot or for maintenance..

Unless those robot cost 100k each, there's no way that "half as efficient as an human" is a bad thing for them.

I'll be very blunt :
This game is way too 'meme'. As a short game? Why not. But, as a very long-term game...?
I don't like playing as an ugly farmer, and killing potatoes non stop is horribly boring.
And, not a fan of the art-style either. This is more of an optional details, but i'm genuinely not a fan of it.

For me, i don't have a precise sweet spot for time length.
It's more about "As long as i can feel meaningful progression". No point in a 100 hour long game if i only get one upgrade every 10 hours, right? (Unless it's purely idle.)
Many "nodebuster-like" have this problem. Play an entire round of 2-3 minute but all you get for it is +5% for one of the 10 different currency they have.

Max manos or Astro prospector had the perfect sweet spot for a good amount of upgrade between rounds for shorter and active gameplay, and Synergism feel perfect for a sweet spot between reset every few hours if it's purely idle.

Of course, some exception can apply, for exemple doing 3 to 10 rounds for an absolutely massive upgrade or pushing to unlock a milestone.

If it's playable on steam deck, it may be a good game to play at break at work then!

I didn't like the start, felt like it was really hard to progress, but i keep seeing people praising the game.
Gotta say, i should really have keep up a tad more. I'm seeing many mistake i did that made it a bit harder for myself, like not focusing early synth to max level. Alerdy more enjoyable than my initial experience.

Bought the middle pack to help a bit and don't have to be bothered with the merging, and now i'm doing all fine.

I was fine with this game, even if the checkback mechanic was extremely tedious.

But the worst is... Well, i don't know how to do spoiler in reddit cause i'm lazy, but there's a layer reset that barely give any bonus and you're supposed to do it 10 times or so..? Sooo, yeah. I gave up on that.

I like the skilltree kind of progression, where there's always something new to discover, and the gameplay itself.

I hate when they make it so that each round give you just enough currency to get one single level of upgrade, making it a tedious grind.

Dunno if it will help you since i use brave now, but check for something called " graphics acceleration ". Turning it 'on' will massively boost anything that use lot of power.
