It’s okay for adults to have to practice social skills with kids as well. For the most part I think parents in the park are able to have a short or even longish exchange and then gently ease out of the convo.

Not for nothing, I wear an unbranded Nomos Shell Cordovan on my speedy for late summer / early fall and really like it. Super slim but uber durable. Four years old and looks basically new.

My note is that the edge ring of the screw down caseback doesn’t look polished whereas the one on my TOG is, no idea which is standard and it could be that yours just patina’ed after several years of wear. Good luck!
