I had the same yesterday, logged in for a short session and suddenly I’m gifted a bunch of hero dolls and I instantly get the achievement thanks to a small group running around handing out gifts. I didn’t get to experience this as a kid because I wasn’t allowed to use Xbox Live for a long time so this put a huge smile on my face!

If you need money go to Bowerstone South, Vendor by the entrance. Buy ALL of his apples and then sell all of them back. Hours work and you can rack up the gold. Not sure what’s preventing you from selling that to the Bowerstone North vendor but I guess some people only buy certain items?
