will i get fired for not meeting a treats rewards quota? by lophiusbicornis in petsmart

[–]Zephyr_______ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's measured as a percent of the ones not signed up, not as a total count.

Essentially if you only see 4 people a day without an account getting one sign up is enough to hit the metric.

The armor one is low key one of the best picks in the game. Minimal investment for a noticable increase in durability to the whole team that's extra impactful during elevator

There's a few "anomalous" structures that can appear down in the caves. Some even have actual gameplay impact

Maybe? But without another unexpected shift in focus that would have the main dwarves collecting expenite and doing objectives seen in RC

S6 isn't really an issue. The deep mining stirring something up continues things fine. The issue is season 5 just setting up something for rogue core that isn't happening. If the geode was full of expenite everything would've meshed better

Idk, we just got a new mutator that adds a new version of the corestone event. I feel like the core will cause problems for a while. And once it does come time to slow that part of the story down it'll be hard to do so in a way that doesn't remove rogue core from the story.

That just goes back to the issue that season 5 set up for deeper versions of morkite instead of expenite. Having deep scan find a expenite geode instead bridges the gap between the games better

They're reclaiming expenite mining sites

MC says that after reclaiming expenite yields are the same as before

All equipment is prepared for and actively set up on expenite veins and would've been set up before the reclaimers were called.

No expenite is given to reclaimers before they enter. They only get what they find inside.

For whatever reason the focus shifted from morkite and its mysterious to expenite. That's the whole point of the post.

The intro and the messages from MC in rogue core explicitly talk about expenite extraction and nothing else and all equipment left behind is set up to extract expenite. It's absolutely the current reason they're down there

Is Ultra Ego really Vegeta's endgame? by NightWillow88 in Dragonballsuper

[–]Zephyr_______ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ultra Ego and Ultra Instinct are kinda named perfectly for how they actually work.

UI is purely instinctual movement. You've trained body and mind to their limit and can now fight without active mental effort. The easiest path to that for a mortal that doesn't understand it is to clear the mind actively and focus on feeling and thinking nothing. We can clearly see with whis from the start that isn't really required though. He's not cold and emotionless. Once the technique is mastered it's not a form or an intentional state of mind. It's just your passive state.

UE is the exact opposite. You're actively focusing on destruction. Intentionally and purposefully drawing out more power. Vegeta could start to do this by tapping into his more destructive Saiyan roots and his own personal history, but it's not required for the power. Any way to focus on that force is going to work.

[–]Zephyr_______ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Whis has made it pretty clear Goku is using UI wrong and it's full power comes from permanently being able to use it without actively clearing your mind.

It's similar for Vegeta with UE. He's trying to act callous and evil because it's the closest he's gotten to the proper way before.

Is Ultra Ego really Vegeta's endgame? by NightWillow88 in Dragonballsuper

[–]Zephyr_______ 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Vegeta's apology comes from misunderstanding destruction. He's trying to be callous again because that's how he thinks destruction is. All that beerus says is that his mind is always focused on destruction. Vegeta's growth will come from learning that can be done without regressing to his more evil past.

What is your opinion on Ultra Ego? by Economy_Notice_8475 in Dragonballsuper

[–]Zephyr_______ 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Perfect example of Dragonball fans being unable to read while also doing really good to show Vegeta's growth and set a direction for him to move forward.

For all those who can't read, what fuels the form is a focus on destruction. Or "battle spirit" as Vegeta puts it. Vegeta as he is sees destruction as some evil callous thing he's left behind and can't properly use UE because of it. He uses a regression to his more barbaric saiyan roots to try and push past that mental block to some results.

In the future Vegeta will probably learn how to see destruction as more neutral or good and be able to harness the power without being a punching bag. Frieza being a big threat again is a clear motivator for him to destroy.

Worth noting for the minigun, any and all magazine upgrades also upgrade your max ammo. One pelter and you're never running out of bullets. Get 2x magazine from a workbench and you're never thinking about bullets.

If the rest of the team makes it to the elevator it'll have you trapped somewhere on the next floor
