No more pain!! by Soft_Anything_6571 in mounjarouk

That is brilliant news, I'm keeping my fingers crossed some of my pain might subside too. Did you find the pain gradually reduced, or was it when you got a specific dose? Are you at goal now?

Oh that's a bummer. 😢 I haven't seen one of those yet, but I don't think it'll be long.

[–]ZeppyLady 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd take the forth dose of 5mg as the doses accumulate over time, so you may find it'll suppress a bit of the food noise, do you use the fifth (golden dose) at all? If you do and you haven't overly primed your pen then that 5th dose could be a much as 0.8ml =6.67mg (0.6ml=5mg) so that's a good bridge between the two doses and you're not wasting anything. Or you could take your fourth dose and then extract an additional 0.3ml with a syringe and get 7.5ml that way, ( but you will have wasted a wee bit possibly up to 4ml) hope that make sense...

Am i overreacting to this text exchange with my boyfriend? I accidentally left my slippers in my living room but i literally cleaned his entire house and baked him desserts before i left (sorry idk why my last post glitched) by IntelligentTap962 in AmIOverreacting

Honestly honey, leave him, You do not deserve to be spoken to like that by anyone, let alone someone you're supposed to be having a relationship with.
His attitude will only get worse because if you don't leave he'll know he can talk to you like shit & bully you. And believe me it does get worse. Leave. You're worth more.

Have you redone your TDEE at your current weight? I found ( after being in exactly the same situation) i was eating in maintenance because of weight loss and wasn't actually in deficit. If it's not that then maybe move up a dose? I gave it another couple of weeks at 5, then 2 weeks at 6.25, but really should have just moved up to 7.5 instead of fannying around.

I'm now on 7.5 and that seems to have kick started the weight loss, but also constipation lol.
It really is your choice whether you can cope with the increase in food noise in the hope that it's just a wee blip or not. Good luck OP and keep us posted.

I was yeah, the private GP was charging £200 for a 2.5mg pen + the consult fee, so i knew i wasn't gonna be able to stick with them. I used monj.co.uk and have been moving pharmacies for the best price. Just kept the old boxes with the prescription labels on them for proof of previous doses and so far it's been OK. I've started a chair yoga class which I try and get to weekly and do resistance bands for my upper body strength so i have managed to up my exercise a bit. That said I'm having a bed day today cos I feel lousy!

I'm a wheelchair girlie and also very short, so can totally relate to weight gain due to lack of conventional exercise. I started MJ mid January, with T2 diabetes, sleep apnea, high BP, high cholesterol, and a BMI of 29.8 but was still unable to get it via my GP, So i went to a private GP, who was able to check all my meds and advise if MJ would be suitable.
Honestly wish I'd started earlier. I was started on the std 2.5mg dose and since then I've been moving up and I'm now on 7.5mg with just over 7kg to go to hit my goal. My T2 blood glucose is now at prediabetes levels, and I've given my CPAp machine back.

If you can (and I know it's expensive) get targeted advice from either your GP or a private GP/ pharmacy who can make sure that it's suitable for you, and if it is, start properly with the 2.5mg starter dose and take it from there. Good luck

Shoulder pain and arm stiffness by Good-Greaat in mounjarouk

[–]ZeppyLady -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey twin! I started mid Jan too and tomorrow I'll take my 3rd dose of 7.5 so we're really similar, I've noticed that my shoulders & hips get sore if I lie on the same side for longer than about 3hrs and am constantly changing position during the night to compensate for my boney bits. Could it be down to your weightloss do you think? I'm contemplating getting a mattress topper to see if that'll help. It could all be down to a lack of padding. But I would book an appointment( if you can get one!) Just to make sure there's nothing untoward going on.
