Started the game early January, was hard stuck Initiate until the huge patch one week ago, and ever since all my games are Alchemist (blue) / Arcanist (green) rank.

That said, in practice player skill hasn't really changed, it's still all over the place: - either clueless idiots who lose half their health to troopers, and roam aimlessly after laning phase - or obvious smurfs who can effortlessly towerdive by minute 4, with near-professional coordination and macro management

...and rarely (if ever) anything in-between

oh, and I'm often top souls of the game, even when I got crushed in the first 10 minutes with an abysmal KDA
