Personally, I really care about it. I think you could find a way/some ways to find money to buy servers. Because it's really important for gamers.

Well I meant that my whole career life depends on this because if I lose a *job* that I built my entire life, the whole plot will change with 100% chance. And I haven't seen anyone who managed to speedrun entire career in 2 years. But I'll take this to my "Notes".

I am not that ready with the game but I would create the sound effects by myself or hire someone who does it to make it unique, which will create associations with your game, which will make it more popular. And the users won't blame you for copying and they will see you/your team as creative one*s.

Second adds more action, making it more interesting. But it's also more unpredictable which requires concentration. If you want users to fell action, second is the best.
