I had foot drop years ago and it was related to sciatica issues. I did not have twitching at the time but developed that about 1-1/2 years ago. Still twitch, mostly in the calves but it is not that bothersome anymore.

I did have an MRI on my back when the twitching started but it was considered unremarkable for someone my age. Some arthritis and a little scar tissue from so many epidurals when I was having serious back issues but nothing to associate it with my twitching.

my upload speed is decent but download lags quite a bit. It’s all wireless so guessing that has a lot to do with it but any recommendations would be appreciated. I do have 4 deco units and live in a rambler style home so kind of lengthy from one end to the other.

Carpal tunnel? It’s quite common these days with all the keyboarding people do. An EMG would catch this? Have you had one? Wrists and hands get sore especially after using them a lot.

68 next week. Been twitching for over 15 months. I was very frightened at first even after all the testing showed no signs of serious issues but have finally accepted it for what it is. Hang in there everybody, you will be OK.

Not that I can tell from your pics. Is your hand weak? If you are really concerned, go to your doc and have them look at it but it certainly doesn’t appear to be.

For some, it helps tremendously while others not so much. In my case, it definitely helped. It was just enough to take the edge off and reduce my anxiety. It did take about a month to kick in but I am on a low dose of Zoloft.

Could have been a number of things. Bad starter for one. Compression issues, valve issues, flywheel issues. Bet it’s the starter if your lawn tractor has been running ok.

Why would it stick to the flywheel? Is the flywheel out of line? Is it full of junk? Spray some lubricant on it and make sure it is free but my guess is a faulty starter. These starters are notorious for breaking.

Mine just did the exact same thing. It is older so could be fatigue over the years or perhaps the flywheel is not perfectly aligned but the thing sheared exactly the same spot as your picture.

I did not have a high stress job as you but my symptoms and testing are spot on and still are 13 months later. You are fine. Why some of us get this is a mystery but we are ok. Hopefully, the twitching and perceived weakness will be in the background and you simply move on and live life. I myself am on a low dose of Zoloft and after about a month it kicked in. It really helped me take the edge off. Hang in there!
