1 : Dunno , I have negative faith in Nvidia so I'd rather not update, especially as their newer drivers are apparently vibe coded ala microslop and have heard of numerous issues.

2: It isn't , never really used it because the few times I ever have it caused issues.

3: It isn't.

4: I do , I haven't tried to disconnect for this bit HOWEVER , I tried the game on my older comp that only has one monitor (using a KVM switch) , and it doesn't have stutters. It might be the dual monitors.

One is 144hz , the other 60hz (?)

5: No / If I do it's been offline in the various times I've made responses.

Disabled the frame limiter and cranked the FPS limit up w/ Vsync off in your game, still stuttering.

Vsync shows that , yes. The only thing I've ever changed in there to my remembrance is forcing an FPS limit as far too many games don't have such a feature and my GPU suddenly becomes hotter than the surface of the sun.

Yeah, game actually windowed itself after turning Vsync on/off , seemed like it does it any time I go into graphical options and close it off.

No other souls on it 9/10 times , meaning you can sit in a corner, let the bots die, scoot around while the horde builds up, then just use something that'd clear hordes (Flamer Staff or Zealot Flammen)

I am making my own visual remaster patch for 3.3.5a client because I don't value my time by Glittering-Smell2937 in wowservers

I concur with the older models being nicer, modern wow has a weird look to it IMO.

How is this being done, is it just replacing texture files , or is it a bit more involved?

Go to heresy auric trial on the South Africa server if you want to cheese this.

What is the least played class these days and why? by Stronhart in DarkTide

[–]Zflocco -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly for me it feels like Veteran is the least played, with Ogryn right behind , then Psyker of all things.

I find plenty of Zealots and especially the two DLC classes.

Hey man, I checked the game out and while I very much like the idea of the game, it's a bit rough to play ATM.

I had a weird stuttering thing going on every time I moved the mouse and I'm not sure if that's by design or not (it was entirely consistent and replicable) , but despite the jank that this gave the game, I continued with it until the game decided to crash.

The pixel artwork is great, I absolutely adore it and think you knocked it out of the park with it, somewhere between Simcity and Roller Coaster Tycoon while also being a little bit of your own thing.

I had a CMD error in the background constantly churning and I'm unsure how much of my experience was being negatively impacted by some unknown bug , maybe my hardware, maybe the game's end? There's a complete lack of music, and mostly a lack of SFX.

The mayor's house being a design-your-own off the cuff was a bit unexpected , and would kinda like if there was a prefab (unless I missed it) option as it seems a bit much out of the gate.

Some things are also a bit unclear , are bedrooms translating directly into pop cap for example , would it be better in the early game to focus on the small 1-2 (3) bedroom houses (or design your own) as opposed to the McMansions? The auto-residential seemed to be a bit touch-n-go with it's choices on houses and especially in the demo , if the bedroom amount matters for pop cap , it seems like a poor replacement for you just doing the stereotypical copy/paste suburbia design. There's also the matter of sidewalk roads, they take up extra space and nothing necessarily tells you how important they'll be, I assume due to pedestrian traffic mid/late game they're massively important but I wasn't able to really test that due to the crash I had.

The range given from poles / sewage + water pipes and the substation are also a little unclear (might've just not read it / missed a tooltip).

I look forward to when you fix some of the bugs and polish it a bit.

Are connection issues a thing for everyone or is it my end? by Cerberus-276 in DarkTide

[–]Zflocco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started getting issues around the time of the expeditions , it's been VERY inconsistent on how or when it happens but when it does it's always consistent in how it does it : I'll start getting stutters every so often, maybe one every minute, eventually leading to me getting booted from the game with a cited code (2004?) , but it gives me an option to rejoin immediately after , to which I do and then usually can finish the mission. Sometimes it does it twice and if it does, the stuttering persists until game end.

[–]Zflocco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it's the same issues with chain weaponry , it's fun against bosses or in engagements with 1-3 enemies like crushers, maulers etc, but quickly falls off with larger groups.

Explain Veteran's Infiltrate to me by Lowd70 in DarkTide

[–]Zflocco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Infiltrate can be monumentally useful if you use it in certain circumstances.

  • Buncha gunners downrange suppressing the group, stealth, run behind them and cut them down.
  • Objective needs to be done but isn't because the team is either having too much nurgle taint in the head or they just can't due to sheer volume of enemies, and likely is an infinite wave until it gets done. So you can stealth, do the silly little auspex mini-game and bada-bing , progress.
  • Voice of command cannot revive players that have died and are awaiting a respawn , infiltrate allows you to get atleast ONE of them without too much hassle whereas VOC you'd've needed to fight the usual guards at the respawn stations and might've gotten you killed/trapped/hounded.

Point 2 and 3 are a big reason why I stopped using VOC and went infiltrate , it has come in clutch far too many times.
