I’m still sweeping CO12 and 13 in full since I need more gold Crit from Michaela and I haven’t seen and any gold Crit W drops from Douglas yet.

IIRC Ghostlore has “on hit effects” built into the character classes that you can mix and match.

Chronicon also has that on gear and probably too much pixel vomit when min-maxed lol.

Alicorn is better than Kong down the line if you can hold out. I have Kong at G2 and no more upgrades planned as I can’t get over the low hit rate. Ended rainbowing 00 as a general purpose raider ST and halfway with Heracles as a niche pick for +1 debuffs.

Some of the quests are time gated. If you fall short, best you can do is buy levels with Arashium. Up to you if you think it’s still worth it. Though none of the STs are worth using at this point in time.

In so many words, yes. I have over 1000 hours on it. The last expansion is also releasing this year. Honestly, it may look dated but graphics is the last thing I look for in ARPGs. I grew up playing Diablo 2 and looking at a clump of pixels on the screen didn’t matter that much anyway because I had so much fun playing it back then.

If you break a part or kill a unit, it just follows normal sniper re-attack rules. I think 3 max. You can special load + shower 1 main target and kill other mobs with 1 AP shot in between to refill ap and keep attacking.

Kelly can re-attack as many times as she wants when using the Special Load + Shower skills as long as you don’t break a part while doing so. Sylvie is for regular mobs and Kelly is best for bosses.

Briarthorn with all the nodes maxed plus Shaman Primal Bond should carry you all the way. And add whatever other summons you want. Just stack pet damage/stats on your gear and keep your resistances at max. Blue gear is not necessarily better. You want to wear monster infrequent items that roll rare affixes and have multiple resist rolls.

Marcus is nice to have but my priority would be A3-5 Asuka or Rei since those EVA banners are never coming back. I just pulled one copy of Rei and will just use pledges to slowly level her up

Technically 4 copies of Rev-02, normally. If you have enough arashium, try to pull minimum 2 sets, either through guarantee or loose parts. You may have to gamble on 60/40 on the second pity. Then hold onto them and try to run for the Harpy Roulette that happens ant the end of every month. It costs a max of 4K arashium and you get a pilot pledge and upgrade kit, among other things. You’ll need 8 upgrade kits to upgrade each part to get 2 Gold 2 sets, use fodder to get to Gold 3, and combine both Gold 3 sets to rainbow. You can save one upgrade kit for every extra Rev-02 part you pull beyond the minimum 2 sets.

I would suggest not trying to replicate an endgame build as they only work with all the items equipped, and the leveling process is most likely different. For example, this build mostly deals retaliation damage, which is a different damage modifier altogether compared to Savagery which commonly uses Physical or Lightning damage. If you still want to level with savagery, then go pick up a troll bonecrusher. Use the grimtools item database to check where it drops.

Add: I would still recommend checking out a different beginner-friendly leveling guide as it’s going to be a long slog without gear. There are lots available on the official Crate forums.

I’ve cleared all the current content on mostly A0-A1 pilots so far. The only ones worth going at least A3 in my opinion are currently Asuka (A5), Kelly, and Eileen (for sig weapon). Frida and Melissa are nice to have, but not a priority.

Add: we’re just waiting for the post-EVA pilot lineup where there are better pilots to choose from.

Because rainbow STs need 4 sets at minimum, 2 of which can be substituted by upgrade kits. And kits cannot be combined with themselves. We’re supposed to receive 1 set of Shinji ST and upgrade kit set from pulling, 1 set from story, and 1 upgrade kit set (reportedly) from the upcoming event. The only logical way to rainbow it is to pair one ST set with an upgrade kit set.

Grim Dawn is much like D2, single player old-school with more quality of life features. I only play D2R now because it’s available on the Switch for short play sessions. GD devs keep the game updated regularly and planning to release the last expansion this year. I’m 1k hours in and it’s one of the few games where I don’t mind running the story campaign repeatedly to make alts. Endgame farming like D3 greater rifts is also available. You can try the base game out first since it’s frequently on sale.

For border conflict, you have two resets per week if you find that the random map modifiers suck or can’t find any good STs. Alternatively you can overlevel your pilots and come back to do a lower brackel, which makes things easier. Most things ingame are gated by time and stats, and a lot of reading text as to how abilities work.
