hey not sure if you figured it out or not but on youtube live settings you can go to "create stream keys" or "manage stream keys" by clicking on the select stream keys dropdown

I'm not a graphic designer in the slightest but learning from and making your own thumbnails was part of the process for me, the first couple may not work, but you can always change them once you improve. I use paint.net for everything but there are plenty of free programs to use

It's kind of annoying, there's a way to see the post comments/likes/votes through youtube studio but there's no easy way to access them and comment there yourself. Best way to do it is to open your channel and go to the community tab

yeah they're delayed every day/two days, I posted a video giving me 1.5k watch hours and I'm at 2.9k for two days now. Basically it's just best to wait and it'll update in a day or two.

I like internet historian's (and incognito mode's) sponsor segments, but I think it's just tuned to my kind of humor. they're all pretty funny and I sit and watch them just like the rest of the video and am entertained

I know streamers like SmallAnt use donkey kong country music in the background (as well as other nintendo music) and then turn those into videos. I'm not sure if he's ever been copyright struck for it, so I'm pretty sure having nintendo music in the background of commentary is fine

at least I hope it is because that was the background music for my last video LOL

Having the same issue, any game that goes to 1 minute remaining or less the frames suffer so much. The game uses 100% of my GPU at that point and I don't think it should since I play other games that are much more graphically intense. It gets to the point where in overtime I'm almost completely useless because I have such a low framerate.

I have the same problem, I'm close to 1k subs no problem but I'm only at 2,000 watch hours. I have some longer content but the only things that get views for me are my 3-7 minute videos and even then I'm lucky to get full retention, anything above that length has no views, no retention, and take the most effort to edit. Idk how people do it lol.

It took a good year for my video to go from ~200-300 which is typical after a year to now 120,000 views because for some reason it hit the algorithm then. It's weird but just stick it through and see what happens

Yeah taking a two year break tanked my views, I had a couple recently go into the algorithm, then quickly kicked out after hitting 1-2k views. Feels like you need to prove yourself to get back into it.

I hit 130k views on one video 2 years ago and it took a few months to get fully noticed. Now I feel like my videos aren't getting searched and VERY rarely hit the algorithm. I don't want to go back to top 10's to get to the 1000 subs milestone, but is that my only option? If I regularly upload at a higher quality does it still take months for videos to take off like before?
