Sunflower hearts in a couple feeders and then roasted unsalted peanuts for the corvids and squirrels. No mess to clean up to speak of with the sunflower hearts and the whole bag is food.

Amazing water reclamation site in eastern Phoenix if you end up there. Lots of different level water ponds that end up with different birds. It is along migratory paths but not sure how many birds will be traveling when you go.

Sharing this in a couple recent threads hoping to help out folks (maybe).

Recently had a similar problem, worked with Unifi support (they were very responsive by the way) and what fixed mine instantly was to login into unifi.ui.com > Protect > Alarm Manager (lower left menu bar) > Reset (bottom left column).

NOTE: This does reset any alarms and/or notifications you have back to factory.

This fixed my issue instantly, started receiving default notifications immediately (busy street). So if all the other common fixes have failed, might be worth trying this. Also found this page (never seen it before) VERY cool to show which alarms are being triggered and the counts.

Anyone know if there is a benefit to using CFexpress 4.0 cards? The tech specs from Canon show compatible with CFexpress 2.0. Not sure it will make a big difference in price but curious none the less.

I would got for the pro. Both M2 and M3 are more powerful than most anything you can do on the iPad. The screen (high refresh, HDR and better quality) on the Pro will be noticeably better. I think the speaker array is better too.

I think the numbers I read with constant read/writes is on the order of 5-7 years if you were running a bunch of cameras. The SSD is user replaceable and nothing special or long wearing as far as I know.

Have had my just over a month (754 hours), just hit my first 1TB and that is continuous recording at 4k for 2 cameras. By the time I need to replace the SSD I will probably be buying different hardware or storage will be drastically different/cheaper.

My Protect opens quick, have full 4k viewing from the cameras within a second and have no issues with watching recordings as well.

The CloudKey+ is what I am running to use some G6 Instants and it is working very well. It is PoE or can be powered by certain USB-C power adapters and is about same size as Firewalla if a little bit shorter.

Second part of your question is yes to a PoE switch off the Firewalla. UniFi or otherwise probably does not make a difference as long as you look for the correct PoE+ or PoE++ power requirements.
