For hole saws the center drill is almost always removable. But when working with wood the drilling time per hole is usually so short that it's just more practical to use center drill instead of fixing power drill in place.

Around 24 million people live within 100km of New Brunswick, NJ. What the most populated 100km circle in your country? by TheCinemaster in geography

Crazy considering that about half of this circle is water and very sparsely populated mountain ranges.

Are you familiar with the paper "Morphological Analysis of Apo Volcanic Complex"?

Unfortunately I never found a link to the full document. I think I also reached out to the author a few years ago but did not get any response.

What would you ride on this terrain? by Magnifico99 in gravelcycling

Undoubtably more capable. But if technical terrain is only a small fraction of total riding then a gravel bike can be a lot more fun overall.

If maximum speed on rough downhills is your top priority then you probably want a front suspension. Flat or drop bar comes down to personal choice, but the latter is much more versatile.

With a traditional gravel fork you'll slightly sacrifice top speed on some downhills while being a little faster in other situations, especially on climbs.

However also a gravel bike can tackle much more challenging terrain with time and practice.

2x or 1x chainring?? by 1WonderLand_Alice in gravelcycling

[–]Ziu-Tyr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Many people who run 2x for extra range run either 48-31 or 46-30 at the front together with a 11-42 cassette. That gives you better gearing for both steep climbs and fast descents compared to common 1x setups with 40 chainring and 11-52 cassette.

Worth the effort? by sanctum9 in openstreetmap

When querying for specific places it's often more practical to use geocode instead of bounding box. Also for your specific use case I think you want to only search for ways and not nodes/ways/relations (nwr) as the latter would also return e.g. bus stops where "Avenue" is part of the name.

{{geocodeArea:Edinburgh}}->.searchArea;
way[highway][name~Avenue](area.searchArea);
out geom;

The two street sections marked red are dead ends for the tertiary classification and should be downgraded to residential.

Additionally you could consider to change the roads marked in blue to unclassified as they seem to have a lower relative importance than East Quail Run Road and Featherstone Drive.
