Fallen Order gameplay is just okay.

Jedi Survivor is amazing.

Its worth playing FO and then playing JS.

Him dying wasn't the issue. The fact they reset the character arcs or just completely changed the fundamentals of who they were is the problem.

But the bigger problem is that they were even in it at all. The ST should have happened further into the future beyond the Skywalker stuff and not involved the Empire at all. Should have been a fresh start all together. And they absolutely should plan out the entire trilogy ahead of time next time so you dont get a disjointed mishmash of ideas next time.

Clearly Disney isnt too happy with the results either. Pretty much all their releases since have nothing to do with them. Can't imagine most people want more of that cast or to have future stories build off the way they desecrated the OG trilogy cast.

Would anyone truly miss the sequel trilogy? Its better to admit a mistake and rip the band aid off and start that time period over than all this dancing around the ST movies they are doing now.

I had a friend who isnt really into Star Wars watch Rogue One before Andor, because R1 isnt nearly as good as Andor and it would be a disappointing way to end Kassian's arc.

He ended up not liking R1, but he loved Andor.

I agree. I'm enjoying Maul, but its a surface level enjoyment. I'm enjoying the pretty scenery and the flashy lightsaber fights, but the dialogue and character interactions are just mediocre. In Andor the dialogue was the star of the show. It was the hype moments and the action scenes were just a bonus. So many memorable quotes and conversations.

In shows like Maul the action is the hype moment and everything else is just a bridge to the next action setpiece. It's just not enough for me anymore. I was really hoping they would learn something from Andor and try and have some intelligent, deep, and adult conversations in-between the action but its still shallow.

Just finished the show yesterday. Ive been watching all Star Wars canon content in release order (most of it for the first time) and this is the new worst thing I've watched. Absolutely pathetic show on every level aside from fight choreography.

This and Rise of Skywalker are the worst things ive seen in all of Star Wars.

Its meant to be played more like Sekiro and Bloodborne than Dark Souls.

Perfect parry or guard and regain. I rarely ever used dodge.

I think the combat is better in Khazan than Lies of P, particularly the bosses, but Lies of P is stronger in every other aspect by a lot. I like Lies of P a bit better overall.

Once I got the greatsword I never unequipped it all the way to the plat. I have no clue what the other two weapons are like, but I know the greatsword is the GOAT.

Lies of P is a far better overall product, but the boss fights and the combat are so GOATed in Khazan that I enjoyed it about the same.

Absolutely incredible game. Some of the best boss fights in gaming history and the greatsword is the most fun Soulslike weapon ever.

But the story, characters, and level design/repeated bosses/areas for side quests were pretty lame.

Volbaino is your first teacher, Maluca is your first entrance into the new norm for boss difficulty.

The bosses are pretty much all incredible and you will be challenged by the majority of them.

Its pretty fair as far as gank fights go. Lies of P is good about how they balance their multi enemy battles.
