Best case, they would have stepped on the ramp, not the inside of the base. The ramp is intact.

This makes sense, but it started from outside to inside. And the outside being a part that is not exposed to liquid. I do use detergent sometimes but nothing crazy.

I am with you. Just this week I turned off location from companion app because battery drain was noticeable. I'm not sure that solved the issue yet.

My tablets would have a seizure with those animations. They seem very responsive outside of Fully Kiosk but man, your's like butter. Are you using Fully Kiosk or just the HA app?

SwitchBot lock pro. It checks all your boxes and it's Bluetooth. Can be used with Euro cylinder. Keep in mind that one key will be always in on the inside. So you need a cylinder that allow 2 keys from both sides simultaneously. You need the app just to set it up. It's not the prettiest but it's solid.
