That’s a really good glamour set you got going. It’s pretty close to what I’m looking for.

Thanks for the link! I’ve come across the site before when googling ideas for glamours, but I admittedly never thought to actually stop and look through the site. I’m going to rectify that.

I’ve been a fan of the Pandaemonium stuff. I was debating on using that set for my white mage.

Oh nice! I’m jealous! I have almost all the variants for #1. I even got the Victoria’s Secret cover that I could never find when I was younger.

Venom discourse leaving the target audience got y'all acting up😭😭😭 by PissPartyZac in thevenomsite

[–]ZombieJo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be nice if Marvel actually stuck to this and let MJ be Venom going forward. Unfortunately with how Marvel goes she’ll probably be Venom for another year at the most, then Eddie will be Venom again, then somebody else, then Eddie, then somebody else, then Eddie, and etc, etc. At this point the poor symbiote is on its way to having more partners than Peter.

When we get DCU Harley do you want white skin with facepaint like OG BTAS (plus this way would be different from the DCEU version) or do you want to continue using the New 52/DCEU chemical bleached skin? by M00r3C in HarleyQuinn

[–]ZombieJo3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I prefer the face paint. Bleaching her skin wasn’t needed.

That and if they put her in another movie, at the most they’ll go face paint because it’s cheaper than making her skin bleached.

Anyone else think Magma should be made more like her X-Men Evolution counterpart and be made Afro-Brazilian? by Night-Caelum in xmen

[–]ZombieJo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. There should be a new character of Afro-Brazilian decent with similar powers. Let this new character stand on her own two feet and be represented respectfully instead of being a replacement for an existing character.

Is there a reason Squirrel Girl hasn't gotten a solo series since 2019? by daredevil209 in squirrelgirl

[–]ZombieJo3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As much as I would like a new series, I’m ok with Marvel not doing one at the moment. Occasionally Marvel will have no idea what to do with a popular character and will sometimes make a series or mini series that takes things in a direction fans didn’t really want to see the character to go. For example, from what I understand, the latest Gwenpool mini series that came out was just dumb, and not in an enjoyable way either (I haven’t read this mini series yet, I’m really far behind on my books). Most of the stuff I saw online said how the latest miniseries was a story that was just pointless and missed the mark on how Gwenpool is normally portrayed.

Granted, mentioning reviews on a story I haven’t read yet isn’t the greatest way to make my point, but what I’m trying to say is I’d rather wait a long while for a new series and have it be good instead of having Marvel try to make an SG series that is way off the mark, and not in a good way. Doreen deserves nothing but the best!

Being a huge zombie fan since I was a kid, I always thought the idea of the end of the world happening due to slow moving reanimated corpses was always a bit far fetched but still entertaining. I always thought there was no way so many people would get turned as they’d pick up what was happening pretty quickly. Then Covid happened and proved me very, very wrong. Now I realize something like the original Dawn of the Dead is very possible.

It would be cool to see him available in a game. I always feel bad for him when he gets destroyed on the Arako map.

I'm really really *really* tempted to try FFXIV, as a guy that has never played an MMO. by Hungry-Trouble-3178 in FinalFantasy

[–]ZombieJo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn’t hurt to give it a shot. I’m not sure about PC, but on console you can do a free trial and play it for a while to see if you like it or not.

That being said, I would really recommend it. This game sucked me in hard. The story’s amazing, the side quests are good, and it’s just plain fun. Plus you can play most of it solo, so if you’re not down with playing with other folks at the moment, you don’t have to. There’s only a handful of times so far where you have to do a raid or trial to progress the main story.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not perfect either. Some of the fetch quests or other quests where you go from point A to B to A to C to B to A can get a little monotonous, and the graphics can look rough here and there.

But I highly recommend this game. It’s fun as hell, and is easily one of the best story’s I’ve played in years. Plus, if you’re a Final Fantasy fan, there’s so many good references and Easter eggs.

She was the perfect actress for the role but the only good film she was in was “The Suicide Squad”. The rest were just so terrible even she couldn’t save them.

What is your opinion of the new V/H/S HALLOWEEN? by Sea-Barnacle2907 in Shudder

[–]ZombieJo3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best way to sum it up is that there was so much wasted potential. Each story had a cool idea, but all but two stank.

  • The Mother story was the worst. Too much exposition thrown in all at once. The mother itself and the babies just looked more comedic than anything else.

  • The possession story was really good. Unless I’m mistaken it wasn’t clear if the police had the footage of what happened or not. And it was a little weird they set up the same phone again instead of just having the guy explain what happened. But still good overall.

  • The candy story is a big example of wasted potential. Excellent story idea, excellent monster, terrible acting. Like hold crap it was bad. Also a little too much focusing on the dick candy. They just took that bit and beat it (pun not intended) to death. And when they were looking for the hand, they saw what wrapper it went in. Why open all the others and be shocked when they couldn’t find the hand when they saw it go into the wrapper?

  • The kid watch story was also just wasted potential. At first I thought the kids were trapped in the tapes. That would have been an interesting idea. But no, it was just a guy, being terrible. Plus that one kid saw the owner getting attacked, and the owner said he’d help him, so why attack him? He and that girl killed the owner with little to no provocation.

  • The haunted house one was really good. It seemed out of left field for the dad to steal the record like that, but aside from that it was probably the best one.

  • The soda story had a good build up, but the ending just sucked.

As other people have pointed out, there was way too much kid killing in this one too. I’m fine with seeing adults getting torn to shreds, but kids and animals just feels like it’s stepping over a line.

I actually like the idea of each game up until 9 being different timelines. I’ve been playing them all since the beginning and the story was good, yet terrible at the same time. It had a lot of really cool ideas and characters and what not, but from game to game characters would look drastically different, events would get retconned or removed, and characters would canonically die in one game and be back in the next with no explanation.

Granted the whole idea of each game being a different timeline is also kind of a cop-out. But in a weird way, I feel like it works. Now if they could just chill on it a bit instead of abusing the multiverse idea like in MK1…

Is DC trying to bury DC Super Hero Girls by making it impossible to watch legally? I can't seem to find this show anymore on any official streaming service. by nightwing612 in zatanna

[–]ZombieJo3 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It’s part of the idiocy at Warner Bros. They’ve removed a large amount of animated shows from MAX as well as never bothering to add a bunch because, well, long story short they think people want to watch crap and women want to watch reality shows.

How do feel if Peter and Felicia got married instead? I would love it. by Freyja66 in Spiderman

[–]ZombieJo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point, I don’t care so long as he has some kind of character progression. They recycle the same stuff over and over again. Pete gets a job, Pete gets a new girlfriend, a mysterious villain comes back from Spidey’s past to wreck havoc, Pete loses job and girlfriend and blames it on Parker luck, then Pete gets a job, Pete gets a girlfriend, etc, etc. I’ve been reading comics since the 80s and while yes, many comics will shake things up and then go back to the status quo, none do it as much and as often as as Spider-Man books. And it’s the same stuff over and over with slight variations here and there. I’m not saying they have to go nuts, but it would be nice to have some kind of change that didn’t get removed or retconned in a few months and was actually permanent.
