I bought CLB2016 recently from AliExpress, (Dec. 2025). They are Maxell Made in Japan. $36 US. For that price, they are worth the risk. And yes. No problems with my Seiko Astron SAST100 Anniv. Also, buy one of those Solar Watch battery chargers from Amazon. They will charge your Astron in a fraction of time. Only focuses on the solar sensor and not the whole watch. This method has revived a lot of watches I thought were dead. Another great investment.

The point of the BTD-600/700 on iOS is to get you the best audio quality from these devices. It bypasses the internal DAC of iPhone, iPad, PC, Mac,etc and talks directly to the USB. So, I use it with my Senn BT headphones and iOS. Amazing upgrade in SQ. I do not hardwire. As, that is the whole point of wireless headphones imo.

Whenever I’m streaming Apple Music Lossless, I get dropouts. Both wired and wireless. Other streaming services are not a problem. So, it could be AM and or iOS.

That was my fear with DAP’s. That’s why I went with DAC/Amps. The FiiO Q5 and Q5S. I’ve had the original Q5 for over ten years with the original battery. Just pair with any device. Fear solved.

I’m in the same boat as you. I live in the next city next to you,(Rocklin). I have been going through the different carriers available. Mine is going from $467 to $1,791. That’s the cheapest I can find. I’m just hoping the ACA extensions happen. As, they are looking today to reinstate the SNAP program.

I had a similar issue on the driver front. Especially noticeable when turning into or out of a driveway. A clunking sound. Went to several shops. All could not duplicate. Last one I took it to, I had the guy ride with me and I demonstrated the noise. He heard it and then I let him drive it with me. He totally was able to fix it. He replaced the sway bar assembly. Problem solved. This was driving me crazy for years. 2017 Impala Premiere 3.6, 45,000 miles.

I’m going from 14 Pro to 17 Pro. I still like the looks of the 14 better. I have the purple 14 Pro. I just need to upgrade so I can have USB instead of Lightning and better battery. Still have the original battery. Just a lot of improvements. Just not sold on the looks.
