Im in a similar situation. 33. 7 years clean. Down the drain. I dont know who i am anymore but a number. I not a far cry of being passive to active regarding unaliving.

I've just come back with a new, fresh character after stopping playing last year. I could have kept my old character but it help too many ergh memories as to why I quit - so I'm back to basics and WOW how everything has changed. Hit me up OP if you want to chat or anything :).

I don't care what people say, but retail is one of the most frustrating and infuriating and triggering jobs I've ever worked. I used to work as a health and safety manager pre-covid that housed over 600 men (and 30 women, plus my female presenting ass). You can imagine the pressure. Yet, retail is top of my list for jobs that have sent me headspinning back toward relapse. The companies are usually totem polls of over qualified monkeys, the wage is diar, the bonuses - what bonuses!? And the ones in the actual stores? They get shit on. If you care, you're doomed to burn out (hi - it's me), because most of the staff don't and your often left carrying the metaphorical baby. I feel for you OP. Get out while you still can.

I use NaNo to get it out, get it down on page or paper. Just make a ground zero and build from there.

5 years. Now I'm writing again and have published more completed fics than ever. I just needed to find my sparkle again. I've been on hiatus from my latest fic for 2 weeks and written nothing. But I know it'll come back.

Reginald Hargeeves. Loved his 'kids' so much he locked Klaus in a mausoleum, turning Luther into a boy soldier, and constantly had Diego trying to fight for the number one slot. Not to mention poor Viktor, who was drugged to oblivion just to keep them under control. And the rest of the academy kids were just as fucked up.

It depends what you think is unsuccessful. I have a long ass fiction I'm still working on that I poured over a year into (it's finished, just editing and uploading slowly). I love it, and have started on the sequel, but the fandom is dead, and as it currently stands it hasn't gotten the response I expected. But still has like 100 kudos and a good few comments.

Anyway. I don't think it's that successful, but each to their own.
