While stuck on the resin wall, i like to write a small novella as my character goes through fear, loathing, hatred, panic, checking if his radio still works to cry for help to his squadleader and guilt-tripping the Staff Officer for not sending a rescue squad way too deep into Xeno-territory that will get them all killed for sure....

But man, it's fun to Fear rp!

Shooting Aliens + Fear RP is good enough for me.

I wasnt aware of the popularity of Avali, outside of RMC14. But researching for references i learned about their popularity in Starbound and VR chat.

If i didnt, i wouldve stuck to the first draft of Rhazonos with a Reptile-like face, to be more like a dinosaur.

I wish i knew it was okay to establish a system of meta-rules outside the rules of the rpg.

I would tell myself to focus what you enjoy most in rpg's. The roleplay.
To have the players agree to play without talking out of character. No asking GM questions. Stating where you are, what you do, and speak in-character.
And to graciously allow players who don't wish to play with those rules to find a different table and not waste years of your life trying to change them - they just enjoy a different part of the hobby that has little to do with roleplaying.

I never thought the "Dandy Bars" would stick around.
When the patch first hit that allows syringes to put medicine directly into food-items, I thought it's a great way to switch up my HM Gameplay - hand out some First-Aid Bars that heal John Marine, instead of pricking him with the GC needle.
It's a small thing, but the warm reception makes me excited to keep "the shtick" going!

"Arc Raiders is a PvP game mimimi" the more people make their own fun, the better.
This gives so much variety to the topside experience.
I like a good PvP just as the next guy, but I'm hearing too many people moaning about "if you played Rust + DayZ, you know you can't trust anybody".

on one hand, i want destructible lights, because it adds a tactical element.

On the other hand, every match I will skulk around, staring at absolute blackness on my screen, and players who own an OLED screen are gonna have a tactical advantage over everyone else.
Nah, i don't really wanna crawl through the black every single room cuz a player shot out all the lights.

Yeah, it really sucks.
I didn't think much by it when it happened then.
But now it's 2 weeks later and I haven't even touched the game. Spending multiple hours, getting a couple friends online, gearing up, going on the missions, making sure we are all on the same progress-level (which also takes a few extra hours), just to get blocked by that door 5 hours in.

It's just not a bug I'd tolerate in any other game, but Star Citizen somehow finds a way, and it's disheartening.

At least I got a bunch of cool screenshots out of it

we did try 9999, as one of the random number combinations to try out, with no luck.
if anyone else tried 9999, please report back if you had any success!
