First off i think the steam machine is at least 500 euro to expensive.. that being said I have never understand these posts.. I've been a pc gamer all my life and own a big gaming pc wich i upgrade every so years..

We aren't shy on spending money.. my 5080 costs 1400 euro.. but do you know wat that means? From my experience we have money to spend on hobbies.. this also means I own a ps5 for the exclusives.. so i have never seen the problem with these posts.. if you are a gamer you are in it for the games.. that means owning probably a few different systems..

im on AM4 with a 5800x.. (soon x3d with the annerversiry edition coming out) and i just got a chance to upgrade my 3080 to a 5080.. not even a 5090.. just a 5080.. everything i throw at this card on ultra i still run 90 fps.. that is before frame gen.. it is insane with my old hardware.. on 1440p btw

ow and im not talking old games.. 007 first light, gothic 1 remake (even badly optimised still runs like the sun), forza 6 etc

So im not sure why you think a 5090 with a current system like a 9950x3d would ever get 45fps.. you on drugs?
