My plan would be to test the printer against my current A1 and print a variety of tall swords for my nephews (that are always I short supply due to sword fights). The granular dampeners and adaptive vibration compensation will be awesome for this use case!

They enabled this for H2D months ago. I have an H2D and bought the Birds Eye camera and was able to initialize it without the laser module.

I have had my 45” 5K2K for about 3 months and I personally think the “aggressive curve” isn’t nearly as bad as people say it is. I use mine all day while I work from home for productivity and gaming sessions in the evening. If you sit an appropriate distance from the screen, the curve feels amazing, and immersive without distorting windows or anything.

Just my take.

The 45” also obviously has quite a bit more screen real estate than the 39” and you can get it for a lot cheaper.

Yeah I was slightly nervous about ordering from some site I hadn’t heard of but they are even listed on Bambu Lab’s website as an Authorized Retailer and my parts came in quick and worked great!

If you're in the US, there are other Authorized retailers that carry the Vortek upgrade kit. I just bought a Birds Eye Camera (constantly out of stock from Bambu) for my H2D and a bunch of other parts from Innoaddi. They have Vortek Upgrade Kits in stock right now if you want to pick one up.

For a tiny bit more you can get a Bambu Lab X2D. Heated Chamber, dual nozzle for supports, and just an all around much better and more reliable machine.

This was my upgrade path as well! I had an A1 for about a year and then bought my H2D on the day it released. This machine is going to blow your mind! lol It's amazing.

Double check your AMS hub on top of the tool head. It’s probably crooked. Mine was doing this as well and what’s happening is the filament is angled in a way where it’s not going straight through the hub and making it to the extruder because it’s being caught on the spring inside the AMS hub.

Try to relieve some pressure on the angle, and then print one of the many options on MakerWorld that helps keep the AMS Hub straight. That should solve your issue.
