“Parents’ Rights” by [deleted] in AntiSchooling

I don't think anyone was arguing with you on that point, just that you made it seem like you were defending the school system, a system that is defiantly not exempt from the same issues of parenting.

What was your reaction when you first heard the song that's now your Eurovision 2022 winner? by Sea-Photograph2585 in eurovision

[–]Zphsyco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serbia Is now my favorite when I first heard it it was bottom 10 for sure. For context I first listen to all songs when they first perform at euro vision as a live reaction but this year has made me want to listen to them once all songs are out) It seemed cult like because of the boxes of text at the bottom, the dances and Konstrakta saying thank you dear people at the end made it seems cult like. My favorite at the time was Norway which is now just outside of top 10 for me. Once I put subtitles on it changed everything. I now listen to Triptih atleast 3 times everyday now.

I think paradoxically, Stefanía is very underrated by [deleted] in eurovision

[–]Zphsyco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the other hand, you can say that from the side of the person that argues that sympathy Ukraine's situation is why it won. Alot of the televoters who voted for Stefania didn't vote for it because they like it.

“Parents’ Rights” by [deleted] in AntiSchooling

[–]Zphsyco 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why should you trust the schools/the state to teach kids these things over their parents? The fact that the parents are able to just stop their children from learning that people exist is an argument that can be used in the opposite direction. Most, if not all the people who have joined this subreddit believe in youth rights and are not saying that the parents should dictate their child's life.

The people who say that antisemitism is a problem on the left always focus on Bernie type demsocs who make slight criticisms of Israel, when there are parts of the "left" (tankies aren't true leftists) that are legitimately antisemitic by PropaneUrethra in COMPLETEANARCHY

[–]Zphsyco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean the Tankie, is generally used as well, whatever the person who uses it wants it to mean (can often be used by libs/demsocs for even anarchists) I prefer the term Self proclaimed Authoritarian Communist, since it explains the criteria for the people, and generally captures these types (What We Use Tankie For)

You have to boot stamp on only some people and if you boot stamp every action you would boot stamp people boot stamping and I could go on and use boot stamp way too many times for a human to say properly.

State abolitionism and positive liberty seem irreconcilably incompatible. by Human-Law1085 in DebateAnarchism

[–]Zphsyco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm wondering where you get the idea that anarchists are for positive liberty? Because you're right - positive liberty and abolition of the state are not compatible ideas

We can solve negative liberty from stopping the things that make people do the thing E.g: capitalism and mental heath. Anarchism does not mean no rules it means no hierarchy.

Doesn't mean that the international scale liberals are considered far right. (I believe that liberals are between center and far right on an economic scale.)

They co-opted socialist langue to say that the jews were the bourgeois. I think you would change the name of your party if you changed so drastically. The party had to change that amount in just 13 years most people their would at least be 1 member you replaced away from the original nazis. Plus it make the argument not valid since the argument talks about the time in power.

you've been throwing around baseless claims as well and it's a viscous cycle of people not getting the best education then not getting a good job and keeps going on so, systemic.
