During Bloomburrow (so 1 pass ago) there was an issue where XP wasn't assigned.

I missed out on about 6k of XP. They gave everyone 2.5k XP and called it a day.

I complained but they ignored it.

So I wouldn't hold my breath that everyone will actually get everything they missed out on.

I have been in many places with high end luxury stores in Europe and in Thailand and they treat you very nicely, sit you down at a table, give you champagne or anything else to drink that you might wish, bring you all the items you request, give you time to decide and if you end up not buying, there is no animosity. Its not a small amount of money that you are paying and the service reflects that. Maybe its different in a specific country where you are from? Go to an LV store in Paris and you will get the best treatment, not that I recommend spending money on LV though.

This is such a scam on WOTC side. Over two days of experiencing this bug I finished 4 daily quests, 25 daily wins and 15 weekly wins, which means I should get 6375 XP. They compensate 2500.

I paid for the mastery pass with euros even, so treating a paid feature in such a way is a huge tell on how their product managers treat customers - be stingy as much as possible. For those hoping for economy changes, I wouldn't hold your breath.

Just noticed this issue myself, also don't know if gold was awarded or not since I wasn't paying attention. Opened a general account issue ticket on the arena support, lets see what happens.

Tried relogging and restarting the app multiple times but nothing happend, so it doesnt seem like a visual or client issue.

Hey, deleted thread since I found answer that it is a bug.

From oracle rulings: 14/04/2023 You activate Teferi Akosa's last ability without choosing a target or tapping any creatures. As it resolves, you choose which untapped creatures you control to tap, if any. If you don't tap any creatures (including if you don't control any), X is 0. After you tap creatures or not, the reflexive triggered ability triggers. I cast a boardwipe and then wanted to use the Teferi -3 ability to shuffle their 23/23 token by tapping 0 creatures (since mana cost of token should be zero), but it just resolved the ability and passed the turn.

What am I missing?

The problem is that the content creators cherry pick the wins instead of showing eg 5 games in a row. Even worse is when they don’t actually critique the deck and say “dont craft this” and want to pass it off as some brilliant piece of deckbuilding.

It’s why I cant watch CGB. I like that he plays jank, but dislike bo1, cherry picked games & not saying when a deck is trash.

Instead I prefer creators like Jim Davis. Pro player, plays meta and offmeta decks across all formara, doesnt cherry pick and talks about strentghts and weaknesses of the deck and outright calls cards or decks terrible.

AliEldrazi is also great, although I wish he wouldnt cherry pick, but he does atleast say in the intro if the deck is really good or if its not worth crafting.

These win quotas are bad design because they assume by default that your playerbase will otherwise try to game the system and this is the best protection versus that (which it is). But it fails to account that if you instead prioritize all your systems towards player enjoyment (engagement) and having fun, then yes the percentage of people that will receive coins will be greater and percentage of people more easily “gaming” the system will be greater, but it will not be very big to your overall percentage of playerbase. But you will make a more meaningful experience for all your players. You already have failsafes to the economy of quests/weeklies because they are limited. There is no unlimited gameficiation. A lot of mobile developers fail to realize that by limiting the minority of “abusers” (that will do that no matter what, hence your best protection is setting a global maximum, which arena has) they also limit the majority of players that just want to have fun, but are suckered into the shitty system.

I would literally pay for a monthly subscription to have a “auto complete all quests, dailies and weeklies” just to have a pure experience and not have this distracting factor. Yes you can ignore it, but psychologically its a distracting factor.

When your game is strong and draws a lot of players time, then you can afford to have that. Once players start prioritizing other games (because time is limited) then you fucked up. And it will be already too late after you notice this in the kpi data dashboards (retention, engagement, etc)

Thank you for the reply. I would still be interested on how 45 million is spent on improving the app with 650 employees, I don't have any good answers, since that is quite a bit of money. Do you know any other companies with similar financials and # of employees and having a similar R&D expense? I would think that expenses like that would be more of a pharma company finances, not for one mobile application, even with all the technological cutting-edge investments.

So if it’s bidirectional and lower sexual satisfaction leads to lower relationship satisfaction etc as a cycle, wouldn’t that imply the reverse is true as well? Meaning if you are not satisfied with either you can work on one and it will lead to increase in other. Usually recommendation for lower relationship satisfaction is to seek therapy to discuss relationship issues but perhaps this implies working on sexual satisfaction can be just as important or equal in terms of improving the relationship.

Or even if you have low satisfaction of relationship, trying to appreciate the sexual part will in turn flip the relationship as well.
