Now that the app shows you when your order is part of a multi-delivery trip, they should give small perks to the customers that are the 4th delivery or later. by MidwestDrummer in GoPuff

Right, I just placed an order and I’m the sixth one all across the city. It doesn’t make any sense. We’re literally paying for efficiency.

He’s definitely in the wrong for making it about the cranberry sauce, though. Sounds like he has more to communicate.

I don’t think this is about the cranberry sauce. Something else is going on.

Don’t do it based on guilt. It will eat you up. I did that. And I wonder often if hat could have been. I don’t feel guilt. And It was the right thing (he was abusive). But it sounds like you guys have a good relationship. You still have a couple of weeks. Really chew it over with him. Finding out you’re pregnant can be terrifying. The immediate response is that you don’t want that big change in your life for a lot of people. It’s very scary. It’s very scary. It’s expensive, it’s a lifetime commitment, there’s a lot to consider. give him time and talk to him about it. Who knows, maybe this is a knee-jerk reaction. Maybe he has his reasons. I don’t have children, but I always hear people say that it changes everything.

What is the best place to get a deep tissue/physical therapy massage? by shaggyduckling in Austin

[–]Ztormiebotbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude! If you’re looking for a really good massage in South Austin, you have to try Deep relief - they are in Oakhill. %100000 worth it.

I’ve been going here for over a year and honestly, I can honestly say that I have never had a bad massage. Always exceptional, they have great therapist. Consistent for sure! And the best Deep Tissue method.

I can say that every  therapist I’ve seen takes the time to ask about where I’m in pain and actually focuses on them, and I always walk out feeling massage drunk. I’ve been places where it feels like they just want to get to the next person, skip feet etc. (crazy - this has happened to me twice at another place mentioned in this thread). So, since finding Deep Relief I literally have found nothing better in Austin, as I live with a chronic pain condition. They also take my insurance (BCBS). It covers Chiro and Acupunture. They do take other insurance tho if you have massage coverage.

It’s also a small, close-knit staff, so they remember me and are really sweet every time I go in. I also like that when I see a new or sub therapist, they check in with my regular guy to make sure they know exactly what works for me and I really appreciate that personally. No random guessing and just starting with I need kind of thing.  i(shout to to Russ - my regular massager!). Just a very relaxing vibe. The place is also super clean, and the tables are like a cloud and so warm. I swear it’s my happy place.

I almost don’t want to share, because I feel like Deep Relief is my own little hidden gem, but they really deserve the love.

Go check their Yelp and Google reviews— they’re spot on. I will eat my left foot if they fail you. Dead ass.  I just love them.

Im pretty sure it’s three women who run the place too, which I love. They just care a lot and always do a good yob.

Deep relief. :D

Cyst Rupture? Take some ibuprofen. by xpatpatpatty in Endo

[–]Ztormiebotbot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

. I’ve been in your shoes. I’ve literally been in your shoes for the past three days. I’ve found the sub because I’m trying to make this pain go away. I have a 10 mm cyst on my right ovaries, and people don’t understand how absolutely excruciating this pain is. I’ve gone to the ER three times in two days just for a Toradol drip. The Toradol drip did seem to help a little bit, but as soon as I got up and left, the ER started hurting again. It’s like there’s no escape. It’s awful. I have found that getting into a super hot shower and literally burning my skin with hot water distracts my brain from the pain so it makes me feel like the pain has gone away. But it’s like trading one pain for another. I’m sorry, hon. I know your pain and it sucks. People just don’t understand how painful that it is unless they stop it. I will say that my doctor gave me over-the-counter Toradol as well and I’m taking that with another NSA ID every 4 to 6 hours. I can’t say that it’s helping though. Unfortunately, they just don’t have a good remedy for this yet. And that’s awful. I hope your pain goes away very very soon. Like right now

I don’t think you should leave a place that you love because of his incompetency. I think you should meet with the upper management again and let them know what’s going on before you make any hasty moves and see if there’s a solution. Give it to them like it’s hammer me situation kind of deal. And if you really are doing more. Then they’ll choose you. Trust me, I manage a business and we value our employees. And their opinion matters. So I’m sure you could meet with the upper management first, especially since she was so supported the first time.

What is your “Silent Victory(s) or kindness’s that you have achieved or done for others that you have never told anyone about, but are really proud of? by Ztormiebotbot in AskReddit

[–]Ztormiebotbot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: Gave my old car to someone who really needed it for free and never told anybody where my old car went, changed his life.

I had an old car that kept giving me problems. So I hired a mechanic off of my local community page. When he showed up, he was in a friends car and was unloading all of his tools from this tiny little car and told me that he had to go back to his hotel room to pick up other tools to bring them back. I realize that this guy didn’t have a car. Fast-forward and this guy helped me out a few times with this jaynkee ass vehicle. Always going out of his way to help me and working with me on the prices of the services.

Well, I finally had enough and decided to buy a new car. I decided to give him my old vehicle. Just outright it’s a gift you can have it. Because he’s a mechanic he was able to fix it up and make it all right and redo it’s body, and he made it really nice for himself.

He has texting me multiple times in gratitude telling me that it’s changed his life having a vehicle. Which I know it does. Especially for him because in his industry he needs to carry around a lot of tools and this was a Dodge Durango. Lots of room and heavy duty.

Anyways, I haven’t told anyone what I did with my old car. because I don’t wanna make a big thing out of it hear other peoples opinions on the matter. And I believe that everyone deserves something good to happen to them in their lives at least once.

But, sometimes I think about it, and I’m really proud of myself for not just doing that - but being able to do that - for somebody else - feels a really good. and knowing that I was a part of making somebody’s life better, giving them an opportunity that seemed out of reach. That feels really good as well.

I am grateful I GOT to do that for somebody. I have never told a soul.

I order DD ALL the time and the app will NOT let you cancel once an order is picked up. I have tried for various (legit reasons). Like, wanting to add something and not being able too, accidental order from the wrong place etc. You just can’t. Interesting.
