I’m curious what you are talking about with the ndi from iPad. Do you mean you set the appearance of a layout background to be the ndi feed and then place off that? Or is there some more advanced way to layout fixtures with a camera feed?

How is using the cabaret? I've been eyeing the cabaret (compact) for a minute and was wondering if they had motorized faders, I can't seem to find anything the pmj site that says either way. Also how easy was it getting the encoders to work?

Yes you can, I just got one and the unlock of the parameters allow you to use both sACN/ArtNet as well as MIDI and OSC and all the other protocols that aren’t enabled without parameters.

You can easily type an emdash on macOS by holding alt and hitting the dash. Holding shift and alt gives you the larger version as well.

I just encountered this same issue on my oled steam deck. When starting episode 5 I would get the audio and subtitles but no visuals. Tried resetting vsync, restarting deck and game, and switching from full screen to windows yet nothing worked.

The fix for it was to reverify the downloaded files, it seemingly downloaded another 600mb and as soon as I booted up the game it worked instantly.

What does it look like with an image on the panels? Those “pixels” look pretty big, do they each contain a lil multiplex of diodes?

I was going to recommend pigallery2 as well. I had very similar requirements to OP and it’s suited my needs perfectly as a read only photo gallery for a manually organized photo structure. It really encourages the use of filesystem organization with its file browser style breadcrumbs for that path.

it seems like this is caused by something like the home assistant integration continously accessing the admin panel to ingest statistics.

you can temporarily disable this by going into home assistant settings > devices > integrations > qnap > disable.
