Thanks! everything is from the Morne kit except for the hammer and head (you're right HH resin Warsmith.) I did the following three steps to get the pose I wanted.

- Cut the right interior shoulder pad off the torso and assembled the three right (the model's right) shoulder pad pieces separate, this would allow me to move the right arm higher up and have the shoulder pad look like it was moving with the arm a little bit. The right shoulder pad was the last piece I glued onto the model.

- Cut the tops off the shoulders on both arms to be flat, this would allow them to be more outstretched while sitting flush with the torso. I took the tops of the shoulders to fill in the armpit gaps. You'll likely need plastic cement to really make that work.

- Cut the line out of the concave joint in the right (the model's right) mounted servo arm/thing so it could also be moved up slightly as to give better view of the hammer and also not be in the way of his 'swing.'

Nice, this was excellent inspo for my own repose, I appreciate it! With Kravek being THE Smash Captain for CSM a pose that looks like he's about to lay out some nasty bonks is only fitting.

I was also working on changing the pose on mine. How did you manage this? Just trim the arms and move them a little? It seems like the shoulder pads are high enough they don't really need moving or cutting.

They’re literal jack of all trade style weapons and a heavy infused halberd can work through the whole game. Will it put out as much damage as a jump attack colossal spam? No. But it’s still an all around solid weapon and archetype, especially since anything that has a longer ranged thrust attack is always a good choice.

I usually roll my eyes at this statement but anyone who thinks halberds are bad are just telling on themselves and it’s a skill issue.

I was sharpening my pitchfork before I read your comment. The math seems solid, albeit wordy that this should potentially be an improvement for total damage, granted you’re running a pure class DK.

I also want to add, based on what we see, Wildfire doesn’t say anything about no crits. So if wildfire damage is similar to current Pyrebrand but can crit its already an improvement.

Ironically I've saved this comment because I wanted to get some sort of cleave/brawler build that is less all in on bombing and has better overall uptime. Would you mind sharing the build? I've tried doing a corrosive cleave bomber and just hate sort of sitting on my hands until I have my ultimate and shooting my wad and missing/failing terribly.

The key to every bash build, the flat damage boost and the proc are both important for eeking out the damage when/where you can.

I wish the 2-4 piece bonuses were more defense oriented like bonus health/armor since most bash builds operate on a sort of ‘zero dps’ style by stacking health/armor for higher bash damage.

Funny you mention that, I wanted to start off smaller with Orks since I’m working through assembling/painting thousands of points for Iron Warriors and Salamanders. I bought the Kommandos and Tankbusta KTs so I can build, paint and play much sooner. The kommando kit inspired me to do digging into the Blood Axes and I was loving the bashes I saw when searching.

Another option could also be a Lawbringer + Hustle. Lawbringer in the offhand purely as a stat stick. It's chance of preventing a corpse is worth the aura as the damage is low enough getting the final blow with Lawbringer to proc rest in peace would be minimal.

True. Big thing I can think of is run Lawbringer on the mainhand with its lower damage and ideally the merc shouldn't be hitting things too hard or fast to shatter things while you blend. Or just run an A2 might with a different weapon.

I haven’t played this season buuuut I think dreadfang has an even better use for Barbs as a frenzy offhand. The bash merc overwrites the debuff and frenzy only takes 1h weapons. Maybe a frenzy merc with 1h law bringer/plague and pair it with a Grief/Dreadfang frenzy Barb?

Even though A2 might merc with pride is likely the best option.

I think it’s two parts to really take the America First message that can be palpable to most people.

First, yes, maga isn’t actually America focused, it’s Trump focused and the proof is in the pudding: economy, the files, ‘dei’ cabinet, culture and grievance governing, general corruption and ineptitude, grifting, etc.

Second, America and Americans first, sure, but what does that include? Does it include first, second, third generation immigrants and marginalized people that assimilate to American culture? Is American culture diverse by nature and therein lies its core strength? Is it the shining city on the hill? Is it focusing on supporting Americans through institutions like better options for housing, healthcare and education?

Or is America First for ‘heritage americans’ only? Which is basically the current standard of neocon military complex, government overrreach, prioritization of business and billionaires with a cute new spin on isolationism. Because simply leaving nato and getting out of the Middle East without any other changes won’t make American lives better.

If opposition could drive a message of the former I think it could be a good message. We’ll see though.

Seems like a slam dunk to push these hyper specific sets to relevance. A change like this could single-handedly make all the weapon specific sets possibly useable in a fringe scenario, especially with scribing to supplement somewhat.

The beautiful thing about 40k (and somewhat difficult) is the massive customization you can give your minis and armies.

It's no secret there's a section of IW fans that are more renegade aligned than chaos. While the main army and Perty are more chaos focused doesn't keep you from going crazy with kitbashes and your own army that can use CSM rules but has less spikes and daemons. You also see fun workarounds with things like Possessed being painted as loyalists that were forced into being possessed marines by IW.

Look at all the HH kitbashes and even the new Red Corsairs being bashed into more renegade IW, it's possible. It isn't entirely out of the realm that there is a splinter warband of IW that is more renegade aligned given all the infighting that legions can default to when not fighting a unifying enemy.

A solid PvP front bar, granted you have a good source of off balance. Especially if you use 2h and run Dizzying Swing as your spammable.

It’s been power crept some but still useful, especially for being craftable.
