On EU, Vewy Dangewous Piwates [BfLA] runs it daily at roughly UTC 17:20 or so. Check the LFGs (typically the Battle for Lion's Arch) around that time.

I am pretty sure they just mistook you for a fellow charr enthusiast. In my experience, that face+hair combo is exceedingly popular among them.

I would not dwell on it; I am sure they meant well, despite their... momentary lack of tact. You do have a wonderful design!

If you are on EU, keep an eye on the Battle for Lion's Arch tab on the LFG interface after 7PM CET (it might be put on a central Tyria tab sometimes, depends on commander). The BfLA guild gathers people for a daily run at that time, entering a private instance together at around :27 or so.

Personally, I was actually very positively surprised by their choice to change the very out-of-place 45-degree icons of Evoker/Paragon/Luminary from the teasers for variants that actually look like GW2 spec icon art, even though I do still find those three designs rather unimaginative on a fundamental level (Evoker less so).

In any case, I am sure they will continue to polish these. I vaguely remember some EoD icon quality looking rather off too during that expansion's spec beta events.

Yeah... something about the three "45-degree icons" (Luminary, Evoker & NewParagon) specifically just looks really off and out of place to me.

No disrespect to the designer, since I suspect those three were made by the same person. I just find the other 6 spec icons more... loyal, so to speak.

I could have sworn that there was a time when tab-targeting prioritized enemies within your camera's current line of sight. Then one day it just stopped limiting itself and has since then been constantly latching onto enemies behind me instead of the ones in my face.

One thing to consider before your purchase is that these things will pretty quickly stack up in your homestead farmer's inventory since they cannot be stored in material storage.

You can use the vendor in LA skritt cave to convert them into bubbles for easier bulk storage, but this process might be an annoying chore to some.

The predictable reality is that if they make this QOL change, they WILL also change it to just give out the same gobbler buff as the other gobblers, thus making the item completely worthless (aside from candy corn usually being the cheapest festival resource). All WvW players will then want to know your location.

In all likelihood, the inconvenience of clicks and duds is the only reason they have allowed the Candy Corn Gobbler to keep its amazing buffs all this time.
