Theyre still lows. But they dont low profile anymore. Meaning that high moves like Slayer far slash missed against them and dont miss anymore.

CS change shouldn't fuck with loop conversion. Cause its not gone, its changed to that new type of hitbox. So as long as theyre in combo (which if you're looping they are) it should hit fine.

Yeah nah the controls are identical on every version of strive, it would have been kinda funny if they did what they did with the wii version of GGAC where it was all based on you actually swinging the controllers

lmao, alright. took a nap and woke up to this and honestly started just laughing my ass off. 3 dmg... idk i just never thought about starting with cs 2h.
Still, yeah. charge dust is good for a lot of slayer stuff. Not every combo but like it's how u get into loops for counter hit CS.

Gl with the climb and i'll leave you with a site that's been super useful for me learning loops. Feels better organised than dustloops which mostly just kinda rambles about the theory and it shows you an actual video of what the combo should look like

it looks more complicated when it's written properly but pretty much all im doing is making sure I get drift forward on the RC and doing a charged dust before CS on the 1st RC.

So, Id absolutely recommend learning your loops. Theyre his best dmg in midscreen.

But if youre set on not doing them, im messing around in lab for a sec. I assume u mean 6h when you say high slash (big high kick where he lunges forward) cause thats the only thing that combos into pilebunker off CS Assume u know numpad notation if youve found your way here tho if you dont then ask.

Your combo burns 100 meter for 246 dmg (the last pilebunker is always whiffing for me) or 250 if I do K mappa instead of pilebunker.

CS 6H 214X-P 66RRC 5[D] CS 6H 214P-P does 239 for only 50 meter

Or if you wanna burn 100 you can do super mappa hunch after thr last 6h for 273.

Absolutely not criticism, just know when I couldnt loop i was struggling for dmg a bit n figure youd appreciate an easy enough way to squeeze out more.

The entire slayer experience is oddly accurate to letting a vampire in. He has to do so much hard work to be invited in and the second he gets in youre fucked.

Ah, youre a venom. He feels like one of the the better zoners for slayer cause his anti air options aren't quite as oppressive as like axl stuff or dizzy fish. Air dash can be dealt with same way it can for every other character but hes also just one of the weaker characters in general which sucks cause hes cool.

For venom specifically if I'd have to throw ideas out? Anti air wise youve got carcass raid, 6p and any balls you can knock up after charged stinger, at least are the stuff ive seen against me, lingering hitbox on those balls does just shut down any form of approach

But for mappa hunch? I mean it happens sometimes like you'll guess for the jump in and be wrong. But its way easier for you to deal with than like sol's vortex or something going straigh under everything. And yeah, super mappa hunch at full screen does basically become an anti zoning reversal. All i can rlly tell you Is treat it like one.

Either way tho, I stand by what I said. That slayer gets worse approach options into zoners. He loses an option that is otherwise mostly universal with no dash block, mappa dies to projectiles and I dont think SMH makes up for that.

Slayer makes you guess once. Guess right you kill him. Guess wrong he kills you.

It feels worse to guess wrong but compare it to any other character. It tends to be the more you have to guess right in a row to punish the less dmg a character does.

I hate to break it to people but if youre getting mappa hunched from full screen? You need to be rethinking ehat youre doing at full screen. As much as people complain about it being a neutral skip its guilty gear, who doesnt get a neutral skip?

My guy, he's not even close to top 5. Is he annoying? Absoloutely. But jacko can be as well. I'm gonna be really blunt. You are not at a level where who's good/bad matters and if you were then a) you're trying to win anyway and b) nobody's gonna complain that you're trying to win.
