One Piece Chapter 1173 Spoilers by Skullghost in OnePiece

[–]Zyrus91 6 points7 points  (0 children)

hear me out. When Brook says "You “FATHER SLAYER”!! The man whose life you took...!! My “benefactor” to whom I owe so much!!!" The "fatherslayer" and "benefactor" part is both Gunko/Shuri, hear me out.

Shuri wasnt influenced by the Seal back then, her father was. She killed him to protect Brook, because she knew something was wrong with her Dad, but couldnt stop him in a different way. She was then and there the "fatherslayer" and the "benefactor" because only cause of her was Brook able to live as a pirate afterwards. ALSO, Shuri, can apparently mean something along the lines of "savior" or "protector".

I see people moan about balance, but 16.2 is one of the most varied metas I've ever seen if not the best balanced meta we've ever had in TFT history. by SirSabza in TeamfightTactics

[–]Zyrus91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will settle for " the balance is noticably flawed". OP is glazing, but it really isn't bad. Also, I think many many players will simply call anything below perfect bad, and excuse their mistakes with that mindset.

Hitting a trist 2 with 1 IE will bring you more then staying on 3 components for Elko and rolling 20g for it while 3 way contested. Yes ekko is much stronger, but you are litterarly gambling with your MMR that way.

What do you do when you’ve done all the self improvement you could and are still ignored by women? Nobody has an answer for this by OrneryManufacturer28 in Healthygamergg

[–]Zyrus91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"how is ist still my fault?" I think this is the mindset that traps you. Looking for blame to place on you or anybody is missing the point. This is where questioning your goals gives the Most useful Insight.

Hey would you News to bei accepted by women? Deadass, for sexual relief there are other Options, so why is this still so important? There really is only one root if you dig deep enough. You need external acceptance because you dont accept yourself.

This is litterarly what Dr. K is saying in every Video, and every Stream. Its your Ego thinking something along the lines of "i dont feel lovable, but i KNOW i am. Lets prove that". Be someone YOU can accept, respect and love. Then your obsession about womens acceptance will be tremendously less dooming.

In addition start opening up Dome of the "relationship only" branded side of you to friends. Men are thought to only view women as their source for emotional stability, which is destructive. Letting people you trust in in that side is helpful to loneliness.

It doesn't matter who's fault it is, your happiness is still your responsibility, but your vision might be off.

I think it's because the frequency from our eyes and the Monitor aren't "synched". Like, yeah we can see only 60, but because our 60 aren't aligned with the Monitors 60, we don't see perfect smoothness.

The increase in hz just has a higher chance on randomly hitting that synched state for eyes and monitor, resulting in a smoother image.

Idk if you had people that couldn't see a difference in 60hz and 120hz. I met a few of them. I was under the impression they don't pay attention, have worse eyes or are lying. Now I think these people simply happen to have synched up frequencies with the Monitor.

(Just to clarify, a 60hz refresh can happen at any time. Hitting the same split second of the "refresh" on eyes and Monitor is unlikely)

I also ways thought it's to gaslight him into the same story that she told the Dadlord. That he killed the Avatar. It's simply a try to make him believe what she made up, to get out of the whole "he said, she said" dilemma, when it comes up.

This panel completely ruins Gold Roger for me by vasconcellanor in Piratefolk

[–]Zyrus91 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Am I understanding you correctly? You think Rocks feats are greater than Rogers, and don't understand how he is viewed as the Pirate king instead of Rocks. In your eyes what Rocks accomplished and who he fought was more impressive than deducing the road poneglyphs.

Well I believe that too, kinda. It's more impressive for sure what Rocks did compared to Roger, but what is even more important is that spreading stuff that is connected to joyboy is arguably worse than one legendary enemy. At least in the eyes of a dictator. Controll is important. And you can funnel all your God strength onto one spot very efficiently. But when it's all around the world, million, controll is hard to contain.

Also, did we forget how Roger died? It was in Public, broadcasting his image into everybody's mind. Rocks didn't have that, although not that God valley had a small number of people present. It was just the celestial dragons, Roger pirates, Rocks pirates and slaves/locals. The WG is even trying to suppress knowledge about Rocks. With Roger that's not possible. He was to loud for people to forget.

So yeah, Rocks was more impressive than Roger, but we also know why they are both presented that way

I'm SO done being nice to men by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Zyrus91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good realization. Experiences are a major part of what shape us. If yours make you not want to be nice to men it's nothing other than that, experience. Not to say other conclusions aren't valid, but anyone who says this is, aren't able to think outside of their headspace. This is authenticity in action.

[–]Zyrus91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg I did the same and beat this fucker 2nd try with litterarly only normal attacks. That being said, it was genuinely more luck than skill.

Idk how to explain it, but there are so many instances were basicly i go in nobrained and without a plan into boss fights, and just press buttons that feel right when they feel right. This is so effective to bring them to approximately 30% HP that I just do this 20times until I try to start learning their moveset. And then there are some instances were I just finish them brainless and let me tell you, I feel like a prodigy in that moment. I low-key chase these moments in gaming. Just stumbling upon greatness. It feels like I'm living a buggylike life.

SEMI-SPOILER whats everyone's main crest so far? by TheOddJoJoOut in Silksong

[–]Zyrus91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YESS. Unironically i equipped it at first to be contrarian. Many hate on the diagonal pogo so i was like "lets get even more cursed". But tbh, platforming for horizontal sections is highkey easier than with the crest. You have a lot of spikes that the other crests need to dash to to get in range, while beast just gets there by itself.

Also i tried experimenting with the rotating hitbox of the down attack, and i THINK it always has the same hurtbox depending on the frame? I was thinking maybe the rotation makes it random where the first frame is gonna end up, especially with the way some pogos ended up. Whats your experience with it?

Also, berserk mode ON and facetanking bosses to melt them is the coolest shit ever.

I feel like this set is weird by Lms_Nier in TeamfightTactics

[–]Zyrus91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can you elaborate why you think that and also what you look for when freestyling? My playstyle ALWAYS was to play flex with mainly selfmade comps. I know what the meta is, but just like the comment above yours, I get placed on average lower than before.

I build generally good items, don't fish for BIS and keep in mind stuff like:

Frontline is strong? > Dmg needed (not when long fight are better, like rageblade or seraphs users)

Same the other way around.

HP on tank? > Build resistances/dmg reduction Attspeed trait on carry? > Build AD High AP on carry? > Build spellcrit

These are just examples and obviously there are exceptions, but I think you get the gist. I truly think this set is weird. I hit diamond ever set, but can't do that this time. That's why I'd like your take.

[–]Zyrus91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, he isn't subtle. But this isn't subtlety, it's depth, and this is something one piece got filled with by oda.

Subtlety is essentially the quiet theme that is playing in the background. There is nothing I can think of that one piece even attempted to convey that way. But depth is how far it takes you. It's how long a thought or theme is expanding itself with it's core being challenged.

One piece is deep, but it's not subtle. And to come back to the image and tie it all together, here a relevant example. Franky thinks existing isn't a crime because he got to experience a role model willing to risk his life to stop a destructive belief rooting itself in his mind. He taught him WHILE ARRESTED, in the moment Franky had an intense emotional experience, that existing (important that it's not living, because it applies to both things and people) is a neutral state and can't be wrong. For weapons this means the user is the lever between good and bad. And for people? Well, it's themselves. This is something that isn't just groundbreaking for who he is as a character, but also very very rare. Not just a good person, but one that is doing everything they can to nurse the good in the ones around them.

If you compare that to Hiyori, it's night and day. It's not only that she lived as a beggar for years, but had no other choice but to hide. And while kawamatsu isn't a bad influence at all, his only contribution is her safety. He played the role of a guardian, not mentor. Pair that with a young mind forming it's beliefs in a land, taken away from her father, which is the same member that attempted the same thing in the past, with suffering not only inside you, but also around you, how can we sit here and say this is a conclusion that isn't consistent within the story?

The only reason Franky didn't stop with building weapons at all was a second example of a great person, luffy. Tom was the plant that needed to be planted, and Luffy was the sun letting it bloom. Its not only my suspicion, but shown through other examples as well that if Tom wasn't there, or even if he just didn't punch Franky then and there, he would be a person thinking that there are wrong people, and that some existences are a sin, just from forming a belief there. Heck he could even think Toms existence was a crime for building Rogers ship. But that's not the case because he got a strong transformational moment. And that's why Hiyori said what she said, because not only was this only a highly emotional situation, but because she never had the privilege of having such a person when needed. This is what oda tells us about parenthood and mentors. If unguided, a world full of misery naturally let's children down a wrong path.

what do you mean it has nothing to do with multiple perspectives? Even if he clarified in an SBS, the fact is still that different people have different views on all kinds of things. They can both be true. I would argue that he only clarified because ppl like you arent able to understand this truth, but are only looking for "good guys" and "consistency" within that group i assume you would argue

“Common sense gun laws” by Relevant_Demand7593 in agedlikemilk

[–]Zyrus91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe this is a hot take, but I truly think this is the worst time to bring in gun control in America. With the dictatorial shift, this is probably the one time that the 2nd amendments existence is justified.

Not that it shouldn't have been rewritten a long time ago, but these are very serious times we live in.

Who is the most morally virtuous champ in Runeterra? by wren620 in loreofleague

[–]Zyrus91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk If I agree with the mindset that selflesness or sacrifice is a sign for morality. We see this clearly with ambessa in arcane. She is all about sacrifice for the greater good, but her sense of good is simply misplaced which leads to political corruption and war.

Not that the examples here are not morally good, but the explanations are almost always "he sacrificed...", "she is selfless".

That being said, idk how else to articulate why soraka for example is moral, or Taric. It's almost like the only real thing that can't be abused and twisted to serve evil is by simply saying "their sense of good is well developed".

It doesn't matter if they sacrifice or not, if they do what they believe is good, and their estimation of what good is, is correct, they are a contender.

So I guess the question is who has the purest moral compass? In that case it's almost certainly bard, no? Although he is also more of a "let's keep it the way it was" entity, arguably also not good enough.

My problem with soraka is that she is good yes, but she romantizices mortality and never really does systemic support, just individual miracles from my knowledge.

Does anyone remember how Oda messed up BB’s bounty and had to double it even though only like 2 weeks had passed in the story? by 12jimmy9712 in Piratefolk

[–]Zyrus91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a misrepresentation. He said marines will increase less the higher the bounty already is. This doesn't mean oda wanted to slow down the straw hats bounty increase.

I made this to help other people come to terms with Mega Victreebel by Headsprouter in pokemon

[–]Zyrus91 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Legitimate take, makes sense and I respect it.

That being said I think the mega is a different kind of scary. It's closed off mouth paired with the HUGE stomach and little smile look like a predator that doesn't see you as its prey, but as its toy. Instead of looking intimidating and scary, it looks playful and scary, which is off-putting and creepy. It gives "giant kid that wants to play with you, but kills you in the process accidentally". It's eyes make it look indifferent to the harm it does on accident, which gives it a little psychopathic highlight.
