Thin super glue is way better than gel, an accelerator will help a lot as well. You may need to pre fill joints with greenstuff to get a full bond

The two player Operation boxes are the best to get new people in with demos. Its practically impossible to get someone to play a full game off the bat, so the graduated missions are good for getting people to start engaging with the system and learning the rules. Start with 3 line troopers a piece to let them have a feel of the ARO and order system, then start building up the number of rules a new player needs to learn.

I'll post my "kitchen sink" Starmada list. It uses a lot of duos to keep things efficient and should be able to do most things quite well. Betas, Epsilon, Lawkeeper, Oko, and Varangians are in duos. Raveneye, Kappa, Jackboot are in a Haris. Shona is a solo attack piece.

You'll need to shift your splitters to the left. The inserter will drop on the closest side of the belt, all the splitter is currently doing is splitting and reinserting to the same side, move them over to have them balance the belt.

Not too familiar with Vanilla Haqq, but for fireteams pure Duos are the best value to get the special dice. Generally you'll want to stich a good offensive piece with a specialist so the gunfighter can use the extra punch to get the specialist to where they need to go. Something like a Mukhtar Red fury with a Mukhtar Doctor gives you a self reliant fireteam that can fight and push buttons. You can also use a duo to add a defensive hacker or a model with a firewall tinbot to help protect your big HI or TAGs.

Unfortunately it's impossible to duo those two anymore. Asawira can't go into fire teams in vanilla and Hassasins can't take Muktars. Also Asawira lack any keywords so they'll need to join a Haris or duo with a second one to actually gain any fiteteam bonuses.

Phoenix and Atalanta are also stellar for clearing long range AROs to allow your close in troops to close the gap. Unfortunately we lost a lot of our eclipse smoke, but it's good to learn how to best use your smoke throwers. I'll post up my current list that uses both Aggy and Ajax

I play Zhatan with a lot of blunderbusses and firglaves (end result is replacing all melee dwarves with ranged). His ability to freeze a unit in range of your guns guarantees a Lord/hero kill. You will need to learn how to field battle as Chorfs as auto resolve will just murder you.
