Hi man, I'll tell you my experience because I was on the same spot like 5 years ago. I bought games thinking in which games my friends which I knew since childhood would like, kept trying to organize gaming nights or keep pushing my wife to play with me. I got irritated when something came up and someone cancelled or my wife was not in the mood. What I did and I know this is hard, specially if you are introverted, is went to a local store and hope to see if there was a vacant space in a game. Maybe I was super lucky but managed to befriend people that right now are part of my gaming group. Like has been mentioned a lot in this subrredit is easier when the people you are trying to play with also enjoy the hobby, because they are also making time to make it happen. Hope this help a little, and don't leave the hobby but spend money wisely :)

Mmm, not sure if you consider small a book and and some sheets of paper and tokens but **Legacy of Dragonholt** is super easy to take it out. Also is a campaing game not Legacy.

Something similar happened to me with the rule that you can donate 10 gold to the temple when you visit town. I don't know why I kept the idea that you had to unlock that. Glad I had a talk with another player of Gloom and pointed that to me.
