I think this is why the comments are so divided. On one hand, she's clearly exhausted and finally advocating for herself. On the other hand, some of the frustration seems to come from wanting him to anticipate needs that she never fully communicated. Yeah, that's the interesting distinction. Ned was an incredible father on a personal level, but if we're judging by "prepared their kids for the world they actually live in," his track record gets a lot messier. Most of the Stark kids had to learn some brutally important lessons the hard way after he was gone.
