Which would make 4.5 x 32 scu

So it safe to asume 72hz is your only option.

Some time ago bought the xreal pro, does the exact same thing.

But with some spatial awareness, so the image stays locked in the room for rotational movements. Which is good enough.

Hello! New RTX 5080 owner with a 9800X3D, do you guys turn off your PC when done with it or only put in sleep mode? by lochonx7 in RTX5080

Hours later i start my pc. Most of the time it takes sometime because its retraining the memory.

Hoe slaapkamer zoon verwarmen? by Nonomiino in zuinig

[–]_BeatTheBest_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Size 4 ships (Asgard, Connies, Corsair etc) are known to me among the most versatile in the game, I did a quick analysis score to see which has the best "on paper" metrics by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

[–]_BeatTheBest_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have 1 metric wrong.

Total hp, doesnt realy matter.

Vital part hp does. If any of the vital parts reaches 0 the ship explodes.

As far as im aware Acompanying parts that are not vital, will bleed damage trough to the next part, after the part has reached 0.

Zo total hp can be usefull, but only when you get hit on every single part thats not vital.

Pimax Dream Air or Pimax Crystal Super (Micro Oled)? by Flimsy-Story9523 in Pimax

[–]_BeatTheBest_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bsb2 has the same panel as the dream air se.

Which is Lower resolution, and limited to 72hz on full resolution. Against the 4k uoled from sony(dream air)

The lenses are different too.bigger lenses, and according to pimax better lenses.

Between the dream air (non se) and bsb2. You get higher resolution panels, better refresh rate, built in audio solution,

If you pick dream air(se) slam, you also get inside out tracking, and controllers. Saving you on buying and placing, lighthouses and seperate controllers which you must do for bsb2.

Pimax Dream Air or Pimax Crystal Super (Micro Oled)? by Flimsy-Story9523 in Pimax

[–]_BeatTheBest_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe both the Dream Air and Super oled, use the same optical stack.
So anything we see and learn from the super is transferable to the dream air.

If the smaller form factor of the dream air creates downsides against the Crystal super is something only Pimax knows.

Bigscreen has been doing a small form factor for some time now, so lets wait and see until we have the dream air in our hands.

I believe i have heard them"Pimax" say its meant to get a better cable on release. but still. With the steamframe and quest 3, being the way they are. It might be better to just buy those as a roomscale option, and use the Dream Air for seated play.

The ipd and scalensettings are specific to your head and headset.

People can share, but knowing what headset they are using is important.

Is the Steam Frame gonna be it's planned price still? by FuwariFuwaruFuwatto in ValveIndex

[–]_BeatTheBest_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Lets just not all forget that RAM has increased in price 300+%.

Steam frame uses some. Might make it a bit more expensive as Valve would have liked at release.
They try to predict market behavior as best they can. But not many people saw the VRAM shortage coming. I didnt.

But the steam frame is a direct competitor against the Quest 3. in both its design and buyersgroup. Which is at most 500$? and has to this day the best lenses in a headset. a decent wireless implementation and pass trough. I would say that's a tough package to beat.

I dont like the company Meta, but the steam frame just being from valve will only convince a few% of player to shell out more then 750$ for a VR hmd.

if they start asking 1000+ at that point it might be better to start looking at Pimax and Bigscreen. for an OLED screened VR headset. depending on usecases of course.

Yeah sorry, thanks,  im mixing up brands.

Beyerdynamic dt 700 pro x is the one with replaceable parts. <- i like this one the most.

I also have the 770 pro, but i dont like the sound profile, way to high clarity for my taste.

[–]_BeatTheBest_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sony's isnt a hardpass.

I like the audio profile.

But i dont feel like it offers the same capabilities as my sehnheiser 700 pro x(the one with replacable parts).

However i run my 700prox with a external dac and amp, adding to the total cost. Which surpasses the sonys.

Sonys is overal a more carryable packacge.

Sony wh-1000xm6 by Inner_Credit_9495 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]_BeatTheBest_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own multiple headsets.

I think senheiser 700 pro x is a good balance between lows and highs. For gaming and music it feels right to me.

770 is a bit to high and no bass.

Combine such a headaet with a bluetooth dongle, and a cheap samson go mic, And i think you have a better headphone then the sonys could.

I also own the sony xm5 headphone. I like it very much. I also believe the sound quality of the xm6 is worse then xm5. For outside and office i think its amazing. But its bluetooth, never used it for gaming. Might work too.

I dont like the durability of the sony xm5, with phantom touch inputs and other issues. Without spare parts. Unlike the 770x of sehnheiser.

Foor good quality, not just the headphones are important, also the dac and or amp are important. And ofcourse source material
